I stumbled across this cafe on my commute. What a great place! The workers are so nice and sweet. A great place to do some work for all my students out there. I got the snickerdoodle latte, 10 out of 10. Reasonable pricing I would say too. Definitely coming here again?

An Edgewood gem. Carol is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Food is delicious. I recommend trying the California panini, it will not disappoint. Very cozy spot I enjoy catching up on work or simply reading a book with a latte when there.

Exceptional coffee, friendly staff, super clean. Very fair pricing. Just wish seats were a little wider and more comfortable and that they opened an hour earlier in the morning. Great place for coffee and a light meal!!Vegetarian options: Several veg optionsParking: on street, easy access

First time coming and the coffee + pastry was just amazing!I got a vanilla latte double, my girl got a shaken espresso the foam was just right and the quality of coffee was there.Blueberry Cornbread was sooooo good!!!!Customer service was nice and the scenery had a nice vintage aesthetic. Oh and the price 13!!! What a steal, what a gem!

Fantastic choice if you enjoy overpaying for tiny portions that taste no better (if even as good!) as Dunkin yet cost well over twice as much. But the real treats were the (apparent) owners snotty attitude plus the absurdly high tab for one little bitty child-size cappuccino and a croissant.Gotta keep out the riff-raff right? :PI'm local and it would nice to have a decent coffee place walking distance .... sadly that's not the case here.

Great coffee, good service. Free WiFi. Not many charging spots unless you're by the wall. Quiet atmosphere to get work done or read a good book

Good coffee place to study but there is limited seating. Their coffee is okay in my opinion. However, they have a lot of syrup flavors for you to choose so that's a plus. The workers are friendly and provide great service. I would come back to try the food as well!

This is my first time coming here and wanted to try out the food the place it’s self is pretty cute and cozy but I got a simple quesadilla and it had no flavor and it tasted like it wasn’t cooked. It looks like they just threw everything in a wrap and called it a day. No

Really great breakfast place! We had wonderful drinks and food, service was fast and friendly and prices were so reasonable. My daughter’s pancake platter was somewhere around $10 and was enough for 3 people.

I like the idea of this cafe. I like the location. I like their pastries but they don’t make them fresh, I know this from a former employee. I’m pretty sure I just had the worst/ smallest egg sandwich I’ve ever had and I was charged an “egg surcharge” of $1.50 which is so dramatic for the thinnest BEC in New Haven. I don’t go there for their coffee or drinks anymore because they’re so terrible. I once watched the owner try to teach an employee to make a chai latte I ordered and the woman had no clue how to do anything which is pretty concerning. I’m really over this place and won’t be back. Pretty unfortunate since I live only a couple minutes away.

I always come to deja brew for breakfast and it is close to my house. I enjoy the food and the service every time I come. Particularly Sweetie who is always so welcoming and gracious in her service. She brings a warm feeling to the cafe when she greets you by your name. She is very polite and ensures to give you the best service. I especially love the mocha lattes that she makes for my boyfriend and I! I’ve been going to deja brew for years definitely a great family friendly cafe.

Weak coffee, insolent staff. I went outside and opened umbrella. There was a light rain. No sooner had I done that, then a staff member came out and said, "we're keeping the umbrellas closed because it's supposed to get windy" I told her I'd look out for it, and close it if wind crept up. Meanwhile their sign which swings if there's a breeze hung lifelessly from its chain. My wife was inside ordering and well, the staff was up in arms, complaining loudly within her earshot, "I can't believe that! I mean he's pribably not even buying anything. I told him the nanager said clise it!" After that, my wife who had experienced the brunt of their rudeness -and was bandied around by the incompetent staff who finally got the order wrong- came out with the coffees. Warm, pumped out from their defective nachines, weak, watery, the cream had turned it almost white.
