Within 2 minutes of walking in the door, 2 patrons approached me asking if I wanted to buy crack. I politely refused... once folks understood I wasn't there to buy drugs, they were friendly and conversational. Bartender was a sweetheart. It's pretty ghetto in there, and if you're looking for trouble, you'll easily find it. But none of it rattled me much. Mind your own business and you'll be just fine. Not recommended for Yalies and other posh snots.

Just like the people of Fair Haven, there is more heart, acceptance, character, and family in that one little place than you might find in all of CT. Take the time to get to know them from the outside in and you just might find your tribe.
Wouldn't go elsewhere people very real friendly and a very comforting environment love it.
