MY NEW FAVORITE INDIAN FOOD RESTAURANT! Hot Murga will take the world by storm it is literally mind-blowing. Whoever is the brains behinds the creativity of the Indian fusion cuisine is am absolute genius. I literally have never seen anything similar to this menu before. The mac and cheese chicken Tikka is to die for. The the chicken Tikka burger holy smokes I can't get enough. It's different levels for spice is great too. The Mac and cheese is a must for everyone. Just maybe have a dairy free option? My only other feedback is it's super expensive and they should offer a bigger portion size for the Mac and cheese they could ne bigger for the price. Otherwise I can't wait to be back!!!!!!Vegetarian options: There's veggie options!Dietary restrictions: It's dairy heavy they totally should look into dairy free.Parking: It's right off the avenue so you'll have to look for street parking to payKid-friendliness: Perfect for kids indoor and outdoor seating!Wheelchair accessibility: Very wide spaces for wheel chair ! ♿️

Hot, fresh, tasty food. The fried chicken in the murga sandwich was crisp and juicy, and well seasoned. I would have liked a bit more coleslaw in the sandwich, and the sandwich could be a bit bigger for $12, but the quality of all the ingredients made up for the price. The french fries were the star: these are some of the best fries I've had in a while. They're crispy but have a silky texture on the inside, and the light seasoning is delicious. The mango lassi could be more tart, but the cardamom seasoning makes it a nice drink.

Exceptional. We had the Masala Chicken and the new Punjabi noodle burger. If you are vegetarian you will be very happy with the noodle burger, but the chicken sandwich is really next level, they have an impossible version as well. They also recently added more items to the menu, We will be back to check those out! Unfortunately we didn't get pictures of the food because it didn't last long! So good!

I want to support this place because... 1. I'm southerner who loves fried chicken 2. Im a Pakistani/Muslim so halal food is a plus 3. The aesthetics and branding of this place is so catchy and cute But.. No matter how many times I try this place the fried chicken sandwiches are just average and tasty heavy.

We've heard great things about this place and finally gave it a try. The service was excellent, staff was patient and kind, willing to explain the menu. The seating area was clean and spacious. Not a ton of seating but definitely enough for Tuesday lunch. We ordered so much off the menu I won't list it here. Everything we had was amazing. If you're driving in to New Haven, the 56 Broadway parking lot is only a 5 min walk. You won't be disappointed.

The place was great but food was not very upto the mark. Especially the sando’s. The masala fries were bomb, too good. But chutney’s and sauces on the sando were sweeter for our taste. We ordered extra spicy and honestly it was not at all spicy for our liking so little disappointed with that goven the price. We felt it was pricey. But overall a good place.

Why get pizza when you could eat this instead?Honestly, if you haven't tried their spicy Badmaash Mac & Cheese, you are missing out my friend. Their ? is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and covered in a delicious curry.Ginger lavendar lemonade & Murga Masala Chicken Sandwich are also a must try.Fries were perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Staff is super friendly, and the seating is cute (ps. enamel on the tables makes it look wet and slightly sticky but it's not dirty)PSA to my fellow Asians get the hot or the super hot spice level if you enjoy spicy

These are some of the best chicken sandwiches around! I always have a hard time choosing between the murga sandwich or the murga masala sandwich because they are both so good! And you can't beat the masala fries. So flavorful and perfectly crisp. Definitely always worth the upgrade to a combo.Vegetarian options: They offer all their sandwiches as "impossible" versions too!
