We really enjoyed our dinner here and were happy to see Thai food that isn't in every other Thai place around. We had never before seen Peanut Curry and it was really good. We also had Phad Thai and an eggplant stir-fry dish I don't remember the name of but might have been our favorite dish of the three. This place only seats about 8 inside, so it's tiny. We would definitely eat here again.

Used to come here so often a few years ago and it was always fantastic. Was back in the area and got pad Thai takeout. Gave me food poisoning and the worst stomach ache of my life. Won't be back unfortunately.

This place used to be so good. Not sure what happened? Maybe victim of COVID. Got spring rolls, jungle curry - (bc they didn’t have green curry?) and Tom yum soup. Mostly everything was tasteless. Very disappointed,

Best Thai food in New Haven, hands down. Jeera does not have that generic "sameness" flavor that other places in town have. Favorite dishes are drunken noodle, which is very spicy and well-rounded and delicious, and basil fried rice, which is super aromatic and unique.

There was a ton of hair on the wings! Human hair. I got them to go and didn't know until I got home & they were closed. Highly disappointed & disgusted! But the spring rolls were good

Today I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai takeout. It was my first time ordering from Jeera Thai, and I was a bit disappointed. I've had Pad Thai from across the country, but none so sweet as this one. I felt like the dish was doomed to fail from the very beginning. When I opened the takeout container, it had a very off putting, acidic smell. From there I tasted it and it was just overly sweet. My mouth just wished there was more of a savory, salty element present in the dish. I would not order again. On a positive note, it was a lot of food, especially for the price. You could definitely share the entree, because there was so much. Also, you'd think it'd be bland by the color of the noodles, but they really packed a lot of flavor without any color.

This place is a gem! Such a charming restaurant with great food and service. I haven't tried everything, but I've loved what I've had so far! The prices are fair and the dine-in experience is excellent. If you are on a vegetarian diet, I highly recommend the mock duck.

This is my favorite Thai place in New Haven! In pre-pandemic times, I'd go and dine in with friends. The place is pretty small but has a nice home-y feel. I've ordered from them several times for delivery. I usually get the Pad See Ew. Today, I saw that they switched to cardboard takeout containers since I was last in town which means I'll probably be ordering from them a lot more often. Service was quick, the portions are fairly big/affordable, and everything always tastes great!

Not too bad for a lunch delivery. Ordered the Buffalo wings - not recommended, dry no seasoning- and 4 wings for 6.95. Also ordered the thai hot basil rice- with chicken. This was super yummy and portion huge- at least 3 meals. Just enough spice( I like it spicy, so may be a bit too much for some.) lots of veggies and chicken. Quick delivery, arrived within 20 mins and still hot. Would def order again!

Bland food. Dumpy little place. Bugs

Terrible food. Small hole in the wall place.. The place has a disgusting stench in there like they don't clean. The two people who work there seem to curse at people under their breath for who knows what reason.

Ordered Pad Thai for take out. Wow. Noodles were well cooked, and the texture of the dish was spot on. Crunchy vegetables, with a perfect salty sweet balance of flavor. Tofu was just okay but the dish itself carried the tofu. I would eat this 10x over. Really fantastic- and one of the best Pad Thai dishes I've had. I also ordered a Thai iced tea which was refreshing. Not overly sweet but a must have addition to the meal. They will take a card if necessary. Unfortunately I didn't have any cash but please be mindful of this business and try to pay with cash.
