I am an active duty Navy Chaplain currently at Naval Station Newport, and I recently ordered a Shabbat meal from Ladle and Loaf. Benny and his team did a phenomenal job getting our order ready. They were more than happy to prepare us a meal so we could celebrate Shabbat with our fellow Jewish Chaplain. Not only was the food delicious, but Benny went above and beyond to make sure that all Kosher rules were followed so our Chaplain could eat the meal. Not only that, Benny sent the order over two hours away by driver to our base, at no cost to us. This kind of service is truly exceptional. He messaged me to make sure that the meal arrived, and was so kind. We are truly grateful for this amazing service, and hospitality so we could enjoy a Shabbat meal on base in fellowship with one another. We are thankful for Benny, and the entire Ladle and Loaf team for making this happen. Blessings to Ladle and Loaf! Hooyah Benny! Hooyah Ladle and Loaf!

Extremely friendly. So great to get a kosher meat experience in New Haven. Truffle Burger was yummy. Schwarma was even better. Fries were crisp and tasty. Will be back when we return to New Haven.

Not impressed at all. I was so excited to have an isreali style falafel in ct. Traditionally isreali falafel sandwhiches have salad, pickles, falafel and tehina. It was dry with only diced tomatoes and falafel balls in a pita pocket. I don't get it.Update: The owner called back, apologized and refunded me! Thank you!!!

The fried chicken sandwich is hearty, and amazing. Perfect combo of crunch, savory, sweet, and a little bit of spice from the jalapeños and pico de gallo.Their corn ribs were really great, and highly recommended as an app. Also very attentive and friendly staff. They make you feel like family here.I’ll definitely be coming back.
