I just had great shrimp with garlic sauce. It was spicy the right amount, and not overly sweet the way it often is at bad takeout places. It was perfect aromatic garlic sauce like in NYC Chinatown. There was lots of broccoli, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and green peppers. The pork fried rice had lots of yummy roast pork. The shrimp were big and meaty! This was really good Chinese food made right. Aces!

Very good Chinese food, especially when you're eating pieces of juicy chicken instead of fried & sauced balls of dough. I been coming here for a few years. The staff is very nice and warm, and the food is reasonably consistent. Some days are definitely better than others. You can't complain about the value tho!

Typically love the food here and the customer service. They are typically accommodating and transparent when ordering. Like they’ll inform us about up charges for special requests etc. but recently ordered house special fried rice for the first time. Usually when order this from other restaurants it is pork, beef, chicken and shrimp. Main gardens house special is chicken, pork and (imitation crab). Pretty gross and should have been disclosed when ordering. Disappointing and won’t be ordering that again

take out only!!!i can't speak for most of the menu since I'm vegetarian, but the general tso's tofu (w broccoli) and scallion pancakes are both really good. perfect hot rice. perhaps not gourmet, but quick and satisfying, everything you'd want from a chinese takeout.
The quality of they're food ingredients is stellar! Most Chinese joints have inferior beef quality, whereas here they have real steak that's grilled in your beef lo mein. I ordered a Shrimp Lo Mein with $3 of beef added. The food tasted great. However, I had asked for it to be Spicy. Yet when I went to pick up my order, the lady said it was Not Spicy and then gave me some packets of hot sauce. Hot sauce has vinegar in it and would change the flavor, versus adding some red pepper and mixing it while cooking. How hard is that? Great food, just needs better service from people that should care.

Very rude and disrespectful for no reason when all I tried to do was explain my order and the lady that works behind the counter taking orders started getting loud and yelling at me because she didn't have "time" to listen. Poor customer service skills
