$15 for 2 small pieces of bistec and a cup of white rice is pretty bad. The bistec was very tough and didn’t have much flavor. $4 for a pastele that also had no flavor and being this skinny is awful. If you’re going to charge insane prices for such a small amount of food, let us know first. Don’t scam us. I don’t recommend.

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I was just charged $19.00 for a $10.00 plate. I approached the manager and asked why was I charged so much and he gave me a can of soda lol! Never again! I truly wanted to like this place but beware of the prices. The worst is the food isn't good! I"m Puerto Rican and this isn't a good representation of our food! Reviews that say this food is authentic must be false. ITS FAR FROM AUTHENTIC! More like a generic fast food version!

I grew up with Spanish people in Providence and visited PR…coming to New Haven and trying this place out I was so disappointing. A small plate of white rice & one piece of chicken was $10. Then it had no flavor, no salt. Both rice and chicken had no flavor. Had to get Popeyes. I have Latin background and this food was the worst by far. The fact that people are rating this high makes me question folks taste bud

Felt like the hubs and I were back in PR. Pork monfongo and chicken mofongo were made fresh and delicious! Pleasantly surprised I was asked if I wanted a lot of sauce or a little on each. Def got a lot. One happy gringa from out of state! ?
