No one speaks English here- I ordered noodles with no soy sauce. First they brought it in a sweet fish sauce which I did not ask for at all- I had given clear instructions. They redid it in what tasted like sugar and water mixed as a sauce - it was disgusting and I made them do it again the way I had initially wanted (just the noodles)- it still was very salty. I don’t mind that they don’t speak English and screw up, I mind that the waiter man was rude and upset about my dislike of his wrong meals…..

I wanted New Haven pizza, but wife and son won. Skeptical all the way home, but pleasantly surprised to discover fresh, flavorful and generous portions. Thank you for a very good meal. Ps Thai tea was awesome, said wife.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free (4-1/2 hours later ok!)

Not what it was many years ago!Poor service, no communication, glassnoodle in the greeen crurry I had ordered. No garlic chili oil. The green curry w more like a chicken light green broth.Sorry, but the cooks mist have changed or this place is closing and the passion that was there before has vanished.

Amazing Thai food and this is coming directly from my wife and daughter who are both Thai! The service was awesome and they even threw in 2 free Thai teas. Definitely coming back here again and again when I want to feel spicy. ?️??

A decent Thai eatery on a "dependable" platform. Nice location, good portions and only one (rather tentative) server the night we were there.

Casual restaurant… I don’t understand the great reviews. Hubby had hot and sour soup which was pretty good. I ordered the clear vegetable soup…looked an tasted like water. The Hot basil entree with pork had a kick but no depth of flavor. We’ll try a different Thai place next time

Came around lunchtime and it sure was busy! Our food took about 20 minutes to be served, but I'm sure it'd be faster during downtime.-Hot and Sour Soup: 4/5-Thai Red Curry: 5/5-Salmon Mango: 5/5Mango was so good and complemented the savoryness of the salmon well!-Pad See-Ew: 5/5My go-to Thai entrée. The flavors were amazing and I always love the generous portion of beef and broccoli.Would drop by again during a less busy time!

The noodles were very good. We had the tofu triangles as an appetizer and I would not recommend those.

Pad Thai in New Haven is one of the best Thai food restaurants in New Haven County. Ingredients are super fresh and the food is seasoned spectacularly. The soups are awesome and they offer large quantities enough for two meals. They also offer a lot of vegetarian choices. My go to favorite dish is vegetables with cashew nuts. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with authentic artifacts from Thailand.

The soups are great, but Pad Thai has more sugar than noodles — a huge disappointment.

We went to Pad Thai for lunch a couple of days ago and were pleasantly surprised. The place is unassuming but tastefully decorated without assaulting your senses. The single waiter serving about ten to twelve tables was extremely efficient and no nonsense type - the best I have seen in recent times. The appetizer and the each one of the three entrees were excellent. The food was so good that I almost wanted to order one more entree to have right there before leaving. The best thing of all was that in this day of price-gouging by restaurants blaming the pandemic, inflation and this and that, the prices here were highly reasonable. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts.

Fresh and delicious Thai food every time. Casual spot with constant flow of happy patrons. My go tos are chicken pad Thai or drunken noodle, but you can't go wrong with anything on their menu! Enjoy!
