The food was really good. Tried a little bit of everything on the menus and nothing disappointed. The drinks were just ok and they only had one bartender and on waiter for our large section, so things took a little longer than anticipated. Highly suggest to try if in the area or seeking this type of cuisine.

First time dinning experience here on a Friday with a party of four. The drinks were good for those that prefer sweet beverages the passion fruit mojito & oj/mango lemonade were great. The coconut mussels a were good just small for the price (maybe 4 mussels) and the coconut shrimp was delicious. The crispy prawns were seasoned well. The reason for the review is for the slow service it took far too long for our rounds of drinks to be refilled and skipped dessert because of the long wait in anticipation for the check to arrive slow at the table, which it did.

Amazing food. They know how to cook Thai and actually use kaffir lime leaves so the flavors are great. Not your average Thai place, they actually cook Thai food not a weaker version of it.Noodles are great, I just wish you can change the meat choice instead of it being set. Vegetarian options available.Highly recommend!

I have been there twice since the renovations and the good is not the same. I thought they changed chefs but the server informed me it is the same chef. Not sure what happened. I’ll continue to go to their sister restaurant, Noa.

Located in the heart of downtown New Haven, this Thai restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of Thailand. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by warm and inviting ambiance, with traditional Thai decor adorning the walls and soft lighting, creating an intimate atmosphere. The menu boasts a wide array of authentic Thai dishes, each expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and bold spices. Whether you're craving the classic Pad Thai or adventurous enough to try the fiery Tom Yum soup, there's something to tantalize every taste bud. Standout dishes include the fragrant Green Curry with tender chicken or tofu, and the crispy yet tender Thai Spring Rolls served with a tangy dipping sauce.Service is attentive and friendly, with staff members happy to offer recommendations and accommodate dietary restrictions. The waitstaff's knowledge of the menu ensures a seamless dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant's beverage selection complements the meal perfectly, with a variety of Thai-inspired cocktails and refreshing tropical fruit juices.Overall, this Thai restaurant in downtown New Haven delivers an authentic and memorable dining experience, perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. Whether you're a Thai food aficionado or trying it for the first time, this establishment is sure to leave you craving more.

Incredible. September in Bangkok has outstanding food, service, and overall atmosphere. From the outside it may not look like much, but the newly renovated interior is beautiful. The service was great - our waitress was beyond friendly and had great recommendations for food and drinks for us to order. For starters I ordered the Thai tacos (with spicy mango salsa), coconut shrimp, tempura string beans, and classic crab Rangoons. Super flavorful. When it comes to entrees, I highly suggest the Lemongrass chicken served with fried rice, the drunken man noodles with spicy beef (my personal favorite), and the butter garlic shrimp fried rice. All incredible.Do not pass up on their cocktails because they have an amazing collection and they are great to photograph too. My favorites were the passionfruit mojito and ‘Phuket Island’ a very tropical pineapple drink with Captain Morgan.

So happy to visit September in Bangkok, after their new renovations were completed. The interior looks beautiful and I love the different dining room experiences. Very modern, stylish, and clean.Onto the food: everything was amazing! For those who don’t know September in Bangkok is the sister restaurant to Noa in New Haven, and both of them absolutely deliver. But here at September you’re gonna find a bit more traditional Thai dishes served with a friendly smile and a warm heart. We had an incredible fresh ceviche and crab Rangoon to start. I’ve never had a crab Rangoon so stuffed! We also got to try their coconut shrimp, which was tremendous, and not greasy, perfectly fried, and the sauce was amazing too.We then took the adventure and had their whole Bronzino in chili sauce, which was out of this world. Also had crab fried rice and flank steak in red curry. We also tried their crispy prawn, which was perfectly peppery and garlicky. I’m still dreaming about it.We also had some cocktails as well! Usually I would go ham because cocktails are my thing, but it was Sunday so I was taking it easy but we got to enjoy the beautiful and delicious Sexember, A Thing Called Love and classic Thai iced tea - which paired perfectly well with some of the spicy peppers we ingested. All in all highly recommend and can’t wait to return, especially in the spring when they reopen their outdoor seating.

I was pretty disappointed. $25 dish that included maybe 4 shrimps?! No way. Especially since the pad thai was one of the specialties. Another thing I didn’t like was the QR code menus- if you’re gonna charge almost thirty bucks for a plate of lettuce then the least you can do is give me real menu. Wasn’t impressed and won’t be returning.
