Spooner Street is now Barbarossa. I work locally and get their pizza occasionally. I like a couple of the specialty pies, but I wouldn't say it's anything that sticks out to me. Last time I went I got a couple orders of wings and they were pretty terrible, the skin was not crispy and the meat didn't taste good. If you're gonna go here, stick to the basics. Get pizza or kebab. I wouldn't stray away from those things on the menu.
I have to say ... I had a pre- meditated decision in my head that I probably would not like the pizza from Spooners I read the reviews on Yelp and decided to be adventurous... but I was pleasantly surprised.. not only was the pizza very good it was sausage and pepper pizza ( my daughter thought so also ) and the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming.. I will be back
