Superb! Once again, the team behind Tavern on State and Provisions on State has nailed it with this latest addition. The meal was absolutely incredible and the drinks were divine, as always. We couldn’t get enough of the ambiance; we were expecting James Bond to pull up in a boat and transport us all back to a posh 60s club. A genuine, inviting, and thoughtful oasis along the river.

Waitress lovely. Drinks good. Waited over an hour for appetizers. Another long wait for meal . Mine dried out,overcooked and salty. Husband's ok , portions small . Not even an offer of a salad or bread while we sat waiting for that hour.Nice location. Pretty loud inside

A friend and I eat once a week in New Haven and the surrounding area. This is one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. Highly recommend this restaurant; food is fabulous, service was great, & the view of the boats in the evening Sun was lovely. Recommend!

What a perfect place to spend a summer night! The food was delicious - make sure to try the tuna crudo and the baby butter lettuces with fried oysters. We split the beer battered hake too and loved every bite. The staff is superb and we would highly recommend to everyone!

We've got a new addition to our favorite restaurants in New Haven. Great laid back vibe right on the water. Food and service were top notch, and I wouldn't expect any less by the folks who also run Tavern On State. Can't wait until we get to go back and try even more of the menu.

i give it 3 stars because the first time i dined in this place, the food blew me away for how good it was & the lobster rolls were so good! The owner came out and spoke to us and he was very polite and friendly. I went back again like two weeks later bc we were craving those lobster rolls, but the meat was soooo chewy and over done. Don’t know if it was a different cook that other time but it was disappointing. I wish every experience was like the first experience.. ESPECIALLY since the food is very expensive as well.

My Fried Shrimp was very dry, had no seasoning or flavor. Seemed to have cornmeal crust and was not crisp either. Server seemed distracted, brought wrong drink, had to ask twice for water and we were the only table.

I first brought my wife here in June and so far the food has been amazing with the Oceanside views and the marina. Food is always a lot to eat and smell of the ocean makes it perfect. The waitress here is very friendly and personable and very professional. This is the place to be I hope they get a bigger space inside for the winter

Went looking for some smoked meats but now they only smoke some seafood. My wife had the smoked lobstah roll. Wasn't real impressed. The taste of the lobster was obscured by the smoke flavor. Would have rather had not smoked but not on the menu. I had fried scallops. They use a type of corn bread coating vs typical batter. Just OK. A bit pricey for the portion sizes. Nice view and the staff was very attentive. Might go back but not right away.
