This place has to advertise and give better direction where it is. A tile warehouse/store isn’t my first guess. I tried to find it, saw a sign on a side street and still couldn’t find where it was after driving around in the lot.

Bought bread from these guys at the farmers market this morning.... haven't eaten the bread yet but if they make their bread with the same attitude they have with their customers it will be tough and leave a bad taste. Even if the bread is great I'll pass them up in the future.

Usually a big fan of whole g but was totally turned off last week by the girl working at the farmers market who was chewing down on bread with her gloves on and then went and served people all while still wearing gloves. No one should be eating with gloves on, she certainly shouldn't be doing it in front of customers and then serving them with the same nasty gloves. I don't think I'll ever eat their products again.

Went to G Cafe Bakery on Orange street this morning (9/25/17) and notice the entire staff is new. Cool - maybe it's under new management.

I'm in love! Good bread is the foundation for a great meal. Had the pleasure of eating with friends. Four wonderful sandwiches, an appetizer croissant - spinach - and a chocolate croissant afterward. We ended up sharing every thing because no one could be selfish with such delights. I'm going to be a good customer and enjoy every item on the menu.

The first time we were introduced to “Whole German Breads” was in August 2011. Friends of ours who live in New Heaven brought us a selection of breads from the bakery on one of their visits. We especially like the Berliner Loaf, which we have ordered ever since. Our order is shipped promptly by UPS and it arrives in perfect condition. We can recommend “Whole German Breads” to anyone who likes German type bread. Renate and Hans, Lake Placid, NY

Being 1/2 German, this bread, sold at our local specialty market, caught my eye. I tried the "Berliner" loaf and it was excellent. Look forward to trying their other breads. Bob S.

The consumable items were of decent quality, however, we witnessed quite an uncomfortable situation. This involved a newborn baby who knocked over a vase that was positioned poorly and susceptible to falling over anyway. The child accidentally brushed the receptacle on to the ground and the family- who mind you, was comprised of regulars- was implored to pay a grand total of sixty U.S. dollars. The employees who oversaw this transaction were quite unpleasant. This tragedy that I was forced to endure left a sour taste in my mouth regarding this barbaric restaurant.

Iam from Germany and always on the look-out for good, authentic German bread. Have to say, there breads are pretty darn good. Especially the Berliner loaf. I call them like every 3 weeks and order via phone. They deliver overnight which is great. At least within the state of CT. The breads are perfect for freezing. They do not get stale. Please continue your great service and quality.
