The food is absolutely amazing! i was so shocked on how good it was! The service is top notch! i had no problems whatsoever and the food came very quickly. it was very quiet with spanish music and a beautiful flower design with awesome chandeliers, very comforting!! all in all, Mambo's is a great place to go and grab lunch with the family!!

After great day at the beach deside to take best friend to dinner select this restaurant and amazing view, location and music but yesterday so disappointed with food, waitress and management never again

We ate here on the first day of sail fest it wasn't open when we first stopped by and the owner made us feel like family. We heard the menu and knew we had to return after seeing the festival. We returned to find a very tasty meal The oxtail is a must The seafood rice was very very well prepared this place is a must if you find yourself in new london

Have been coming here for 15 years and I have always had a great experience. The food is amazing the service is attentive fast and friendly and the atmosphere is enchanting. My daughter loves it here. She wants to go every day she is although unreasonable I'm happy this picky child has found her favorite place to eat.

Sat outside and really enjoyed the food. A dear friend of mine is from the Dominican and will be visiting us soon so I wanted to experience it before taking him there. And now I won't hesitate.
It's 7pm on a Saturday night. Fairly quiet aside from a few at the bar. The Waitress was very nice and attentive. I got the pork chops which.. maybe it's because I'm from the south but they were dry, chewy, and disappointing. Way over-fried, pork chops only need to be cooked to 140°. I wasn't expecting pork chop jerkey for $15. I also got some form of sweet plantain nachos which are pretty good. The best thing by far has been the Bahama Mama drink.Despite the pork chops I'm enjoying myself.

ima give it no stars . i drove an hr away from new haven to this place for them to tell me the kitchen is closed . mind you they were having a birthday party . what people going to eat ? i guess juss liquor only ? i juss thought that was stupid to close early . unless the lady lied and wasn’t trying to serve us no . and ya close at 2 am and i know the kitchen would be closed at the time but still . i was very upset .

Has visit several time and today wasn't like those days before. Today food didn't have taste, I order a frie fish and some are was real nice taste and other was like liking a salt can. My wife order a Mofongo seafood mix and there was no taste of seafood at all.

I went here on 2 different days,maybe around 4 months apart and was asked to leave because I look like a cop. What’s going on with that? I advise anyone not to go to this place. They were going to throw me out by force. New London police need to investigate.
