I have never heard of this place before until walking up for lunch at EB and they were parked on the sidewalk. The staff were SOOOOO SWEET. Literally nicest people ever. I got an eggplant parm and it was amazing. 10/10 would buy from them again. you made my work afternoon better and I thank you for your service to us hungry EB workers.

I love this little place. Their prices might seem a bit high at first glance, seeing as they have owned this place for YEARS and are across the way from EB, but their quality and the taste is unparalleled in any deli. Their soups, salads are excellent as well. The staff are friendly, (they actually missed us when we stopped going for awhile.) and the place is clean and clean in the prep area. Thanks for the great service, Sonny's.

What a great find after getting off the Cross Island Ferry!! We googled sandwich shops and Sonny topped the list! Great sandwich and awesome people behind the counter!!! Their Roast Beef was huge and wonderful!! Sonny's is definitely worth the visit!! You won't go away hungry!!

There are a lot of great reviews so maybe I stopped on an off day or ordered an odd sub.First it was expensive for a large sub, $13 cash for a chicken cutlet sounds excessive.Secondly the chicken was terrible, looked like baked chicken cutlet they serve in school cut into chunks then reheated in a microwave turning them into soggy mush.Third you need to learn the lingo, there are no hard rolls only large or small(full sub or half) she asked if I wanted salt and pepper and I said no thanks to which she "ok, as is!"CASH ONLY!
