Fried scallop basket and haddock tacos were amazing, burger was great, tons of shrimp in the scampi! The service was fantastic, we'll definitely be back! Thames Landing is getting put in the rotation!

We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed it! The shrimp taco is fresh and very good. The hamburger is fresh and not frozen, a tasty crispness on the outside. Cheese, big pickle slice and fries. The waitress was very friendly and courteous. We will be back!

I ordered the Fish and Chips. The batter of the fish was excellent, lightly coated. The fish was so moist and tender inside and so flaky. It was so delicious, I enjoyed it tremendously. The fries were great not soggy, lightly crispy, just the way, I love them, whenever having fries.... I had stopped at Thames Landing Oyster House in New London CT for dinner, as I was enroute to Moynihan Train Hall, New York City via Amtrak Train. I totally enjoyed my dinner that evening, whenever I am in New London CT, will definitely return there for lunch or dinner.

Seriously, it was a beautiful day spent with beautiful family, and everything about this quaint little place was pleasing to me. It was not busy when we went. The service was excellent, many thanks to the waitress, and the food was ridiculously good. I think I ate most of it in shock, pleasant, happy, satisfied shock, but the freshness and flavor were amazing. Many props to the chef. And of course, thanks fam for a wonderful day.

An excellent escape from average. They did not hold back on the portion sizes. I had shrimp scampi and the taste was perfect. They have two separate areas to eat. One is more like a pub and the other side is calmly rustic with brick walls and windows where you can sit and watch the trains arrive and depart.

My mother taught that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Sorry Ma, but this was so egregiously bad, I have to warn others. When we walked in, the bartender loudly told us she was out of everything. Chicken, hamburger, lemons, limes the list went on.... We should have walked right back out. My cousin lives in Nashville now and he tries to get oysters whenever he's back east, so we were a little too desperate for the only seafood that was open. Poor kid has to go back to Nashville with the taste of a rotten oyster in his mouth. As for me, I will never come back and won't be eating oysters. Hopefully we won't get food poisoning. It was that bad. The worst part? The waitress asked the local if he wanted the rest of our oysters?!?!? She passed our unfinished plate to him and he slurped them down! Horrified, we paid the bill just to get out.

Excellent tavern located along the harbor. See the ferries, boats and trains whiz by while sipping a cocktail and enjoying lots of good eats - crab cakes and oysters. Great service. Highly recommend!

Stopped by on our way to visit our friends. The service was wonderful. Our host gave us Lobster Bisque to start with, followed by: Blackened Shrimp, Calamari, Crab Cakes, and Fish Tacos. We went on a Saturday morning and it was fairly empty! Prices on the website are outdated, so be sure to check about their new/current pricing.

Fantastic spur-of-the-moment find. Stopped in for lunch at 1:00p on a Fall Wednesday. Sat at bar and we each had a cold beer. We ordered a burger and a chicken panini sandwich. Both were fresh, delicious, and enjoyable. Bartender was a friendly attentive woman who is passionate about her job and the business. Place was clean and decor was nice. Perfectly located at the end of the main business strip, right on the Thames River and adjacent to the Amtrak station. This may be our new go-to place for a meal next time we are in New London.

Nice clean restaurant with well spaced tables. Staff is very attentive and the chef comes out to chat. This is an informal place with a water view if u have a window seat. Food is tasty. Great salad and enjoyed the shrimp wrap. The house wine by the glass not so great. Skip. They don't do fancy drinks. Would go back again as good value for money.

Quaint little restaurant we found on our historic coastal drive. We were excited to try the oysters. Coming from the west coast, they serve us east coast oysters, but there is absolutely nothing like having them fresh! Absolutely delicious and worth the stop, the lobster roll was perfect with the chefs special garlic butter sauce, just mouth watering and the crab cakes were amazing too! Definitely worth a stop!

Food and service was great but we didn't get to taste their famous calamari because they ran out of it.
