This was our first time ordering from this shop. She has a great reputation and we tried it out. I can't say enough about our experience. They did an amazing job for our three year Olds birthday cake. We gave her pictures of what we were thinking for a mermaid theme and they blew it way out of the park. Exceptionally beautiful. Not to mention delicious! We will definitely be returning customers.

I ordered two cakes themed from the movie "Coraline" for my daughter's Birthday and they came out great. My daughter was so happy with both of them. They tasted delicious. The chocolate cake was super moist and flufy and the frosting was just enough. The red velvet cake was a little dryer that the chocolate cake but still spongy and the fondant was soft. My only regret is not calling earlier to get a 3rd cake done. Also thank you for including the matching candles as part of the Welcome Home cake. I was not expecting that and as busy as I was I forgot to get candles, so THANK YOU!!

Wouldn't do sprinkles, glitter, candles, or personalization. The cake was ready 2 days late. Sides were ugly and not iced. Expensive for okay taste.

Not sure what people are saying about the cakes "falling apart." Look at the complexity of this cake she made for me with a thick, fondant Witherstorm, a Netherportal made of rice crispy, etc. It survived the entire 15 mile Trek home and 3+ hours in the fridge before serving. It did not fall apart.I sent her a few pictures of what my son wanted, and she EXCEEDED the expectations. Her design was superior to what I requested. It was obvious she didn't just take my photos for the design, but also did her own research on what specific things my son requested. She made a solid recommendation on the design, and to even have strawberry filling to simulate lava. Everyone at the party wanted seconds, and to take some home...about 18 people in total literally asked for some to take home. So the frosting wasn't too sweet to cause diabetes as some have quipped, it was perfect. I've used this place twice, and praise their ability to everyone I come across.To people writing bad reviews...get a better refrigerator to keep the cake before serving. It seems like the complaints of others are because they didn't properly care for the cake before serving.Lastly, if you want to support the military, this is the best place to do so. The owner is a military spouse.

When the cake lady sold her business, it completely went downhill - it lost its moisture, love and overall taste. We ordered from here a couple times, and the lady that took our order did not follow what we requested and infused the cake with alcohol. It was dry and tasted overall horrible. It is such a shame - I miss the original cake lady so much- you are better off ordering a cake off Goldbelly or traveling to lower CT for a better cake.

If you are looking to cheat on your diet this is the place where you want to go get your dessert your cakes for celebrations. The cake for my son‘s birthday was so delicious that I had to call them to thank them for making his day so special.Thank you ♥️

Absolutely the best cake and cupcakes I have ever had. I bought a custom cake for my son’s 6th birthday. I gave specifics of what I wanted and they went above and beyond. The quality of the cake was amazing and the cupcakes were delicious too. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Just not the same. The cake is ok, not great. Also paid extra to have an artist make the characters my daughter wants on the cake and all got was a couple edible pictures with a backing stuck to the cake. Very disappointed. We will be looking for a new baker in the future.

Just not the same since new ownership. I was willing to give them a shot for my fiancé’s birthday earlier this year. They did a nice job with the decoration but the cake itself was dry. Then I recently went to my nephew’s birthday party which had a cake lady cake. Again the outside was so cute and they did a nice job with the decor but the cake was dry and they loaded it with way too much frosting.I wanted to love this place still since my family has gotten cake lady cakes for as long as I can remember and has been a part of big celebrations in my family for years but I sadly say that we will not return.

Really liked it! The cupcakes were very light and airy, tasted good, and the frosting wasnt the gross kind you get at Stop and Shop, it was very smooth and not too sweet. Decorations were very nice on the cupcakes, packaging was a little bit hard to get them out of but overall very nice. I loved it for my birthday, I really recommend!
