The chicken for my chicken and waffles was fried so hard I could barely eat it. The butter for the waffles had pieces of chicken in it which was weird. I left 1/2 the food on the plate. The burger my partner had was good though.

We started going here weekly right after it opened. Unfortunately I have to agree with other reviews that the place has slipped. Food quality has become hit-or-miss and the place (especially rest rooms) definitely needs to be cleaned better and more often. That said, after not going for a couple of months, our meal there this week was very good. (But my wife said ladies room still not cleaned well.)

The diner is nice. The food is above average. Not the best diner, food ever had, but not the worst either. The week staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall, a positive experience. Take a look at that lox and bagel sandwich! It was amazing!

We ordered a salad and gyro. The salad I asked and paid for more avocado. Majority of avocado was nasty brown (bad). Gyro consistency was horrible like it was microwaved. Total for 2 meals was $34. I can get better food for cheaper at McDonald’s or Main Moon Chinese restaurant.

I have eaten here a good amount of times but every time it just gets worse. The service is usually ok. The food is basic. I ordered a Tex Mex Chicken Sandwich and the only thing Tex Mex about it was the side of tortilla chips and beans with some cheese on top (the Deluxe nachos). The breakfast food is hard to mess up so thats all I will really order if I decide to give it another chance. Only reason I come back is because its really the only "Diner" that I have experience with in town.

Horrible service and the waitress added a 20% gratuity on our bill because she knew we were unhappy. Waited over 40 min for our food and the place was empty. And if they continue to treat customers in this way they might as well lock the doors

We’ve not been here since the pandemic, stopped by for lunch on a Monday. We thought it was odd that there were five cars parked in front. Turns out there were no more that a dozen patrons. Service was slow and inattentive to the customers. There was an error on the side of my meal, Poor food quality, neither of us finished our meal. The biggest turn off is that the establishment is not being cleaned. We watched a bus person wonder over and clear a table without ever wiping the table or seats. There is literally food on the walls. We all heard the host blowing his nose in the mens room and then come right out without washing his hands. We’ll not be back.

terrible service and the waitress added a 20 % to our bill because she knew we we displeased .the place was basically empty and we waited over 40 minutes for our food. we will never go back and I'm sure if they continue to treat people in this way they might as well lock the doors

The place looks like a retro diner from the 50's. Got an idea of what we weee in for when we walked in on a Saturday evening at 5pm. My dinner was turkey with mashed potatoes & stuffing with a medley of veggies. What I got was something cut from a roll that looked and tasted like ham. The mashed potatoes were tasteless. My wife got grouper that was so salty it was inedible. The covering on the "sautéed fish tasted like scrambled eggs. Same for her mashed, inedible. A McDonalds cheeseburger would have been better. Very dissatisfied.! My wife & I left 75% of the dinner uneaten. Even their

Went here a little over a year ago and the food wasn’t too bad, service was good for a Diner establishment. My most recent encounter on Sun 10/9/22 was one for the books! A definite top-2 worst for any food or restaurant experience! Let’s start with -there is a very EVIDENT sewer issue at Diner Luxe in New Milford CT! The stench from the Ladies-room was not only restricted to that area, but you could smell it from across the room! The manager Raul had the nerve to tell me and my party of 8 (my family) that we were the only patrons who had an issue with the smell! LIAR! The staff confirmed that it’s been a problem for at least a year! The quality of the food surmounted to POOR and borderline nasty-tasting!Bread was not the type as depicted in the menu, and was served burnt, onion rings burnt, spinach-artichoke dip was watery, pasta tasted like cheese had gone bad! I mean - it was really TERRIBLE all-around! Icing on the cake was the manager Raul being as nasty as the establishment and food!Saving Grace was Alex the waitress - she was kind and tried to make amends with 10% off!I will NEVER go back here!

DISGUSTING! So we've been here before a few times , and definitely the service and food have been on a decline. First it's been over a year that they have a sewer leak and still haven't fixed it. It's u sanitary and the scent carries through the diner especially if you're seated next to the bathroom. Food came and definitely not what it used to be. The onion rings I got were burnt, and I ordered the slovaki sandwich. $12.99 on the menu, receipt was charged $14.00. We told the manager "Raul" about the scent, the burnt food and his response was no one else has an issue. Very Rude! I would think twice before going back here. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

New management and it shows. We arrived at 9:30 Sunday night and they close at 10:00.I asked if it would pose a problem and the manager along with our fantastic waitress assured us it wasn't an issue. We enjoyed our food as I had the turkey dinner and my girlfriend had the Caesar Wrap. Our only complaint is the use of low-quality chicken as it was tough, chewy and soft. We'll return soon.

Food has been slipping for awhile. Really loved this place when it first opened. But it’s not worth it anymore. My daughter didn’t eat her meal tasted bad. I had 3 chicken nuggets sprinkled with red hot which masked as a chicken sandwich. The bread was overwhelming.

This place has a cute retro diner feel. Came for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was seated immediately. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Menu had decent selections and prices were fair. The mimosas were good and so was my chicken souvlaki. Food came out very quickly, which made for a quick in and out experience. Seems like your standard diner. I'd go back again.
