So many flavors to choose from. I choose blueberry brie and goat cheese blackberry. Great choice! My hubby had caramel and peanut butter cookie dough. He loved it too. By far our favorite ice cream place, unfortunately we don’t live in the area but when visiting we definitely go back.

I was visiting from New York to see my sister over the weekend and went to this ice cream shop. OMG the ice cream was so delicious and service was so great. I dont remember the girls name but she had brown hair and a piercing. She was super helpful and so sweet! Thanks girl for wonderful service it's definitely going to be my go to spot when I visit my sister from now on!

I take my kids here at least once a month either in a Friday or Saturday night for a mom/sons date night & we absolutely love it! The staff is always so welcoming & allow my kids to try as many flavors as they want! One staff in particular is always so nice to us, I always forget to catch her name but she has facial piercings! We love that there are always new unique flavors and the shop itself is set up so cute ! We will continue our new tradition for as long as this ice cream shop is open!

Staff was helpful and patient as I asked to try a few of the MANY flavors they have on their menu. We've been back many times since the first visit, I've tried several of their flavors, none are terrible, most are really good. Some flavors are just not for me. Good service, and good ice cream, at Grassroots New Milford.

My boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday night on a whim. I’ve never heard of this place as we’re not from around there, so figured we would give it a try. The girl at the counter was really helpful! We talked about piercings as she has a few, as do I. She gave us all the best flavor tips, and the hottest sellers. I liked that the tables weren’t crowded on top of each other. It felt more like we were able to have our own conversation instead of having others involved in it also. Service was extremely helpful, and we didn’t feel rushed. There’s lots of unique flavors and options. I didn’t feel like I needed to hurry and pick something just so I didn’t bother the server. She was very patient with me in taking my time to choose and even gave a recommendation. I ended up choosing birthday cake, and my boyfriend got the blood orange chocolate chip. I LOVED mine and he absolutely loved his also. He said he’d buy it by the huge carton if he could lol. I can’t wait to go back and try all of the flavors. I heard that the honey lavender is phenomenal, and that’s right at the top of my try list next time! Huge thanks to the helpful server / cashier girl with piercings! I love seeing companies allow tattoos and piercings for employees. They don’t change a person but make them cooler.

My family and I stopped at this cute ice cream shop on Friday night on our trip back home they had so many different flavors to choose from and my kids couldn’t choose just one . The nice girl that was serving us let the kids have a few different samples so they could narrow it down to the one they liked best ! She was so nice and helped us and even gave us some recommendations for some of her favorite flavors. We ended up choosing double Oreo, honey lavender, blood orange chocolate chip and peanut butter Oreo and had to get a pint of the goat cheese blackberry for later ! We will definitely be making a trip back as soon as we can the flavors were so unique and can’t wait to try more flavors

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in both the ice cream and milkshake at this delightful establishment, and I must say, they were absolutely divine. The ice cream was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor, while the milkshake was thick, indulgent, and perfectly blended. Moreover, Kristine, I believe that was her name, went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. From her warm greetings to their helpful recommendations, her friendliness truly enhanced my visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking delicious treats served with a smile.

The ice cream wasn't anything spectacular and the interior of the shop was disappointing. It had wide open spaces with not many tables. The few they did have off to one side are modern, which don't really go in an ice cream shop and the others on the other side are ok, but one table was super wobbly. That gave off a chintzy feeling. I also didn't appreciate having a pierced up brat as the cashier/server. If I'm paying $8 for an ice cream, I better get service with a smile. She seemed annoyed that I was asking questions about the ice cream. They don't even have water to offer, like most ice cream parlors do. I like Peaches N' Cream in Litchfield much better. It's very cute inside, everyone is friendly and the ice cream is great with unique flavors. Oh, and they have free water!

A little pricey, but with generous scoops and some amazing flavors it's well worth the visit. There are a couple dozen flavors to choose from, everyone in my group ended up getting something unique and everyone loved it. Creamy and punchy with the flavors. If they have it I would highly rec the blood orange chocolate chip!

I am not, in truth, much of a dessert person, much less an ice cream person. I am even less of an ice cream person on a cold, wintry November day. But we happened to walk by after lunch and the children were enticed by the happy looking kids licking their cones on the other side of the window. Grown-ups were enticed by the cute, old-fashioned signage. The menu was vast and interesting, including offerings like goat cheese blackberry, mascarpone strawberry, lime raspberry braid, honey lemon green tea, pumpkin Oreo, raspberry cola, rose chocolate, rose strawberry jam, etc... We wanted to try them all, but the kiddos settled on chocolate peanut butter cup and churro flavored ice creams. I imposed the Mommy Tithe and based on what I tried was blown away by the vivid flavors, especially the high quality vanilla used in the chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream. The texture of the chocolate PB ice cream was old fashioned in its best sense: dense and rich from heavy cream, similar to Van Leeuwen ice cream in NYC or Ben & Jerry's circa 1995, before it was bought out by Unilever. The churro was convincing in its flavor profile, but the lick that I managed to finagle under the watchful eye of my 11-year old was a touch more icy than ideal. Great little shop with young, friendly, high school-aged employees on our visit. Scoop sizes are generous and at $4.66 a scoop, some types of cone included, a bargain for those of us who have become sadly accustomed to NYC pricing a la Noi Due. I suspect this is going to be a regular stop.

Ice cream was just OK, unusual flavors, whip cream seemed heavy, not whipped enough, this was our 1st visit, frequented Riches ice cream in Brookfield, still looking for a great place.

Lots of flavors and nice price/quality. I had coffee ice cream which was amazing and mango chip, this was not the best not a lot of mango flavor and chips a little too hard.

Great ice cream. I had a hot fudge sundae with blood orange chip ice cream. The staff is great. I will be back
