This is our favorite restaurant in CT! The food is always on point and the staff is amazing. The owner Tony is so accommodating and makes you feel like family. A must try but let me warn you make a reservation on the weekend.

Convenient dinner before or after the movies across the street. Decent Italian food. Although pricey. I personally think it was better in years past. Did they loose their chef? Great service and seems to have a repeat crowd of patrons.

Always a nice time whether a casual stop in for drinks and appetizers or a sit down dinner for a special event. Staff is always pleasant, kind and professional and our food never disappoints. It's our good to for a guaranteed fabulous meal out!

Honest criticism seems to be a problem with Lucia Ristorante and I found that even though you are a faithful customer, they will not tolerate any issue(s) you may have with one of their dishes. It would appear that if you find a meal unsatisfactory, the kitchen & staff will take serious offense to that. I do not post this review out of anger because I have respected this establishment for years...I am leaving this review to express my sincere disappointment regarding my last and final experience with Lucia. On a Friday evening, placed an order to go, pasta and pizza. At the time of placing the order, was informed that the size of the pizza was now smaller. This was not an issue because as always, the pizza is delicious. Picked up the order, arrived at home and found that the quality of the pizza/Capricciosa was very poor. Soggy/the bread was mush, made so thin and basically inedible. Truth be told, if I wanted poorly made pizza I would have gone to Domino's up the street and paid less money. Seeing how this is not Lucia's usual performance, called the restaurant to explain what happened....a person who answered said she could not hear anyone talking and hung up. I tried to call back and it went to voicemail twice. Called again...finally was able to speak with someone, explained to them what happened. How the pizza was inedible, extremely thin and requested a refund for the pizza only. I was then told by the woman "We are not a "pizza place" but an Italian restaurant" and someone will call us back since we requested a refund. No one called back that night or the following day. 2 weeks later, a text message was received due to missing a phone call from Lucia/Antonio. The text message from him said he had been away and would like to be contacted in regard to this experience. I am leaving this review because I want Antonio and his managers to understand that as a faithful customer, I have always respected their establishment, valued everything I've ordered from the menu...but if I'm going to be treated this way when finding a item on the menu unsatisfactory that I've had countless times...I will take my business elsewhere. Yes, the owner finally reached out however there was no manager or supervisor around to remedy the situation at the time? No one cared enough to reach out at that time this happened so why revisit disappointment...why? I am sure the reason is because a bad review was left by another faithful customer who shared this experience with me. That's why. "Not a pizza place?" Why would anyone say that...? If I am telling you that a dinner selection that I've ordered for years was NOT up to YOUR usual standards and to be spoken to, to be treated this way because I wanted a refund is wrong on many levels.. I've gone there multiple times a week, highly recommended Lucia to friends, work colleagues and family..but now, I need to inform them of this disgraceful experience. No need to risk them being treated this way. I hope the $18 pizza and the attitude was worth losing a faithful customer. Good Luck.

We celebrated our son's 30th birthday tonight. Everything was superb! The special appetizer "eggroll pastrami" in honor of St. Patrick was delicious! The mustard stepped it up a few notches. The pistachio tartufo was awesome! Bathroom area needs better lighting...I almost walked into the wrong one.

Such a wonderful meal! My boyfriend and I came here for a special occasion dinner as it is a pricey menu. We started off with drinks and this was one of the best espresso martinis with the baileys I've had! We shared a clams/mussel chorizo appetizer (this was a special of the night). I ordered the gnocchi which was lovely and my boyfriend ordered a similar dish but was basically a seafood purse. It was tasty! Then lastly we shared the pistachio layered cake. It was so light and flavorful. We had a lovely server and I recommend making a reservation as they had a lot of people waiting for a table!

We cannot sing enough praise for Lucia—and neither can any friend or family member we have brought with us! My husband and I enjoy dining at Lucia as much as the wallets allow. We have brought family from as near as New Fairfield & Danbury — and as far as England & Europe! We just love it here! The owners, the Chef and staff are tops!!! Tonight we experienced a newer member of their staff, Raj. He was amazing, and Stacy is always a delight. The bar was busy but their amazing bartender didn’t skip a beat with our drinks and requests. She was brilliant. Salads, appetizers and mains were perfection. We ordered off the main menu as well as from the specials. We had another great night tonight! Thanks to all!

Lucia Ristorante is hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at. All of the wait staff makes you feel special and taken care of. My favorite is Elena, a native Italian and impeccable waitress. Her beautiful ora makes you love Lucia even more! I’m having my rehearsal dinner here, and cannot wait for my friends and family to experience Lucia Ristorante. Here’s a picture from dinner tonight, showing off the burrata appetizer and the warm atmosphere Lucia gives off.Kid-friendliness: Lucia has an upstairs area, that is more private. Kids and large families seem to enjoy this area a lot!
