This is a historic building with exposed beams thru out the dining room. The Menu is excellent, as is the food, the bar is full, and there are Lots of beers available. Can be busy on the weekends.

Great food at this restaurant set in an historic house just over the CT border. We sat in the dining room upstairs, which boasted views of the original beams dating back to the time of Washington. Food was good- started with clams and had French Dip and Pulled pork sandwich as our entrees. Generous portions, good drinks. Would def add into the regular rotation! Waitress was attentive also.

To the person who commented on inaccurate pricing, I’m very surprised. I’ve eaten at OO many times and taken out several times. Never had anything but 100% positive food, atmosphere, service AND reasonable prices with huge portions, all perfectly prepared. (Frankly though, I’m not sure I’d even notice a $4 difference on my bill but that’s just me.) This must’ve been an anomaly (mistakes do happen) and sounds like it was corrected promptly and I’m sure permanently in their computer (by the way, both my kids work/worked in restaurants, servers can’t override prices in the system). Sounds like the server did everything right. I hope she wasn’t penalized (her tip) and I hope you enjoyed every bit of what was probably a delicious burger.I’ll continue to go there and do takeout. Everything about the place never disappoints me.

Beware! They have 2 menus with different prices. My girlfriend and I went to Old Oak Tavern on a Saturday night. We both ordered the Bison Burger from their special menu. On the menu the price was listed as $20 (see photo). When the bill came, they charged us $24 (see photo). When I asked the waitress that just happened to be standing next to us about the charge, she checked on her hand held iPad and confirmed that we were charged the correct amount. I explains that on the menu it was $20. She said she would get our waitress. When our waitress came, we explained the price discrepancy. She insisted that we were charged correctly. She came back to us a few minutes later with the menu, which showed $24. We were shocked. How could we have both seen the same price of $20 and now menu showed $24 (I wish I took a picture of it). So we gave our credit card to pay for the bill. While waiting, there was a couple sitting next to us with menus. We asked if we can see the menu. Their menu was the same as given to us initially. The cost of the Bison Burger was listed as $20. I took a picture of it. Right after that, I went downstairs to confront the waitress about this. She had our payment processed and ready with $8 cash in it included. Should have been more (because of the tax), but I didn’t say anything. I also noticed the menus that were stacked next to the bar. Those also showed $20 for the burger. We left very upset and disappointed, and did not leave a tip.Mistakes I understand. But this was no mistake. This was a deliberate strategy to cheat their customers. They are simply hoping that the customers will not notice or question the higher charge. They give out the menu that lists the burger at $20, all day, all night and every day. And in addition to that, when questioned by their customer, they play dumb and have a secondary menu with the higher price.Shame on you!And the burger was not that good with not a lot of meat.

Everything's great; the parking lot is just tight and usually there's a wait, but that's a good problem for them to have. Bit pricey.Parking: Tight, unpaved
