I was extra pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful, kind and welcoming. I ordered some hot food to take home. The woman explained to me what the traditional dishes were and made my plate as I ordered. I couldn't wait to try them. Having great food and great service is what will keep me coming back.

ORIGIN:Tienda Latina ("Latin Store") opened in 2008 to support the growing community of residents from "Latin" countries.CONCEPT:As the name suggests, Tienda Latina sells ingredients, tools, and fast bites associated with "Latin" cuisine.LOCATION:Tienda Latina is located in a small strip mall on the east side of New Milford's Route 7. The location has ample parking, and is just around the corner from another popular grocery destination-- Aldi's.EXPERIENCE:Knowing that a local Beard award nominated chef, Joel Viehland, of Swyft and Community Table fame, views the shop as an important resource led me to initially visit the store. Here you can find hard-to-find cuts of meats, fish, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, and seasonings. It is the sort of place that will inspire even the home cook to push their creative and culinary boundaries. Yet effortless culinary adventures are found as well, such as South American fruit-flavored ice cream and a small prepared food section.

Tienda Latina is a comfortable, cheap place and you can find all the products from Ecuador and other Latin American countries, to prepare the dishes that we like so much.

Food is very good and tasty BUT, piece of advice to the owner, the ladies in the kitchen have ZERO personality, they don't smile, greet or anything. Prices are great too. But remind the ladies what customer service is about. Great food!

Es un robo ofrecen el plato a 7.99 pero siempre te hacen pagar el doble. Ayer pague 14.99 en un deli por un plato miserable y mala atención. Nunca más regreso

I love this place. Best food ever!!! If you are around you got to try it, and the employees and boss are so nice and welcoming. Not much else to say except you should go check it out yourself if your ever feeling hungry for some great food. You won't be disappointed.
