I wanted to make sure I posted a review in light of the negative reviews I read on Yelp. I have been here a few times. Each time, the staff have been friendly, accommodating and extremely eager to please. Today, for example, I accidentally ordered pancakes for my wife, who wanted French Toast with her platter. Upon delivering the plate to our table, and learning of my blunder, we were offered an order of French Toast, and got to keep the pancakes, too. All of the food has been excellent, and I have not sensed any of the "rudeness" alluded to in some other reviews. You cannot please everyone all the time, but this place certainly tries.

I come all the way from Maryland just for these pancakes! There always so light and fluffy! Not to mention the staff especially John is so kind and funny and he made me feel like I was his friend! The place was so clean and had an amazing atmosphere! If you’re driving through Newtown it is a must to stop!

my boyfriend and i came here finding new breakfast places to go to just to get introduced with such an attitude with i’m assuming the owner. we got told to leave unless we order to go because the worker had to “clean tables.” maybe instead of yelling at us the second we walk in, go and clean tables for guest instead of being lazy. if you want to avoid a rude introduction, avoid this place.
Probably the only place I've reviewed where I didn't even try the food. As soon as we entered, the guy immediately told us to leave because they were busy. Translation: I'm too lazy to clean off a couple tables. He didn't even ask us if we wanted to wait a couple of minutes, so clearly he didn't want our business anyway. And judging by the other reviews, this guy is always that much of a joy to be around.

Went for breakfast today with my mom(my son suggested to go there when I asked, mmm! Where to go?) owners were so nice and the food OMG! It was delightful ? coffe was HOT and fresh ! SO yummy! Highly recommend!

This is a great restaurant with a perfect location about 5 minutes off of I-84 and right on Rte. 25. The Chipotle Egg Sandwich was a unique treat for breakfast. This place is a hidden gem that should be more well known than it is. The conversation with the owner is friendly and humorous. The atmosphere is "small town chic" with many seats. I don't know why they aren't famous. Well done!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Food is amazing here! I use to come here years ago all the time when I went to school around the corner. The owner is always super friendly. Reading some of these reviews I can see that if you've never worked in customer service before you have no idea how it is these days. Ever since covid, things have gone down hill a lot. Not just In restaurants, but everywhere. Nobody wants to work! People don't realize how hard it is to deal with the public. Nobody thinks anymore what someone else is going through. This man is working his a** off running this place by himself today and doing it all perfectly! So cut him some slack. The food came out fast and was amazing just like I remembered from years ago.

Food is just ok. However, I would steer clear of this place like the plague. The owner is incredibly inappropriate and will give you an ear full of crazy. I could also hear him yelling at his employees in the back which gave me great concern. Also, he screwed up the order of the table next to me and there was som kind of commotion that took place that I didn't quite hear but was most certainly not a pleasant exchange. I will not be back.
