The Farmhouse is the best restaurant around. This co-owned establishment has split the management, one owner on the front end with the other being head chef in the back and it is reflected in the quality of everything they do.From the highest of standards reflected in their sourcing of the ingredients and the preparation of the food all of the way to the service, accomodations and atmosphere I sincerely couldn't say nicer things. Top notch in every way.My husband and I had our after wedding dinner here and front end owner, Michelle who is ever present made everything set for us, reserving their back room with no issue and ultra accommodating to any changes we made to our party number/requests. The service for our group of 26 was on point and the food was exceptional. We have already been back and trust it as our regular, special place. Do yourself a favor and have a meal here!Thanks again to All of You at The Farmhouse ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: My father who cannot handle stairs/steps/inclines was able to handle the logistics of The Farmhouse with ease. It is a straight shot from the parking lot and handicapped spot with no curb of any kind to get into the easily accessible building.

I have to say. This is my new favorite restaurant. The drinks / food and best of all - the service!! We’re all phenomenal. It is very kid friendly and all the food has a lot of flavor. I had the Thai shrimp and I will be back for more !!Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu / pages for them to color and crayons !

Fantastic food, service, ambiance and management! We have a disabled child and the owner always goes out of her way to accommodate him- including seating us at a table near an outlet (where he can plug in his phone). Bartenders are sensational! My daughter ordered a Shirley Temple and Jack added whipped cream and cherries to create a 'top-shelf' mocktail for her which quickly became her favorite. The tuna tartare, chicken and waffles, and the clams casino are absolute must-try's! Absolutely love this place! You won't be disappointed!

One of the best restaurants in Newtown. The food is fantastic and always plated so beautifully. Desserts were amazing and the staff is so friendly.
5 STARS - (If I could give more stars, I would.) Our first time here, we showed up with a party of 4, without a reservation on a packed Saturday evening, hoping to get a table, and expecting a wait. Within minutes, the wonderful staff quickly and graciously managed to accommodate us. I can not say enough wonderful things about this place! Management, staff, service, ambiance, reasonable prices, and the food - as promised, it certainly was a special treat! Get the grilled octopus app and the Creme brulee cheesecake- You wont be disappointed. What a fabulous experience! We can't wait to go back!

My friend and I were looking for a brunch spot and this came up in our search. I am SOOO glad it did! Michelle greeted us and was so friendly and fun. The food choices were amazing as was the food itself. I had the blueberry and banana pancakes, highly recommend. Sunday was half priced bottles of wine. But they did have many other options. Make reservations if you can. There are plenty of seats but it gets busy.
