We had 7:30pm reservations for my birthday. At 8:30pm we still had not eaten. Not only that but the waitstaff was sweeping and cleaning up all around us. I cannot comment on food other than to say that what I saw people at other tables eat looked good. I am extremely disappointed. I have never walked out of a restaurant before but I did tonight. The only good thing - we offered to pay for drinks but they told us that wasn't necessary.

The server was so rude and rushing us. We were eating soup and salad with no cooking started. No chopsticks offered and no sauce! Very sad when you spend over 250.00 to get such service. The steak was great but the rice and veggies had a weird fishy taste to them. It was literally the fastest hibachi dinner I have ever had. The whole point of going to hibachi is to relax and enjoy a wonderful cooking show and that was not happening. They need to hire more cooks and spend more time focusing on the table and the experience and not trying to rush you out What is the point of hibachi if you aren't eating and watching the show?

The only reason we gave 2 stars is because they got us in last minute which we appreciated. We went for hibachi. Food was mediocre. Hibachi chef was pretty good. Server was atrocious. She clearly had zero patience and just wanted us in and out. "Are you ready for drink?" "What u want?" Pushy pushy pushy. We will not go back mostly because of the pushy server with zero focus on customer service. There are better options in town that don't make you feel rushed. We work hard for our money and prefer to spend it elsewhere.

This is my favorite sushi place in Newtown. I haven't had the chance to experience the hibachi, but the sushi is SO GOOD! I never leave disappointed. The lo mein is also the best. I love the noodles they use. It's always pretty dead in here when I go, but that's probably because the times I've gone were before dinner.

The food was great and ambiance as well. But my goodness, customer service skills needs to be improved badly. Not a welcome, or what would you like to order. Instead we got: "what you want?", slamming plates on our table, drawers and plates, not even asking if we are done before removing our plates. It felt like I was asking them for free things or like I wasn't welcomed at all. Then again, the food was good.

Food was below average. I had sushi and food poisoning afterwards. This is my first time having such distress after sushi. Had to go to Urgent care because of diarrhea. Will not suggest anyone to try their sushi. Dried rice and god knows what was covered in the sauce.
