I arrive at this special restaurant many times as I enjoy the special atmosphere that is exist in this place. The team is awfuly loyal and experienced. The service is remarkablywonderfully efficient. Most important, the food you eat is highly distinguished. I visited many times and I was always pleased. The pay is decent. I highly recommend this place to to everybody.

I was very disappointed with their pizza which had a dried out tasteless crust and the toppings were meager, tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a jar.

This place came highly recommended from many local locals and as much as I admire their loyalty to this old institution, the food is seriously lacking, the pizza...oh, the pizza. Such a following but here's the thing with pizza-if you can only enjoy it at the moment, then it's a NO in my book-it needs to be edible later or next day and the cracker like crunch an hour later makes this place at the bottom of my list. The ingredients are just ok-sausage was decent but sauce lacked taste and cheese was fine. Chicken parm-probably the worst one I've ever had! My knife thanked me after being used for the break! Tough, dry and so very little sauce and barely cheese made this unenjoyable from the college boy to the oldest Italian male in the house! The salad that accompanied it was gross-lettuce was far from crisp as other reviewers commended. The side of pasta was cooked to point but the sauce was on the caliber of Ragu-again, college kid who cooks for himself couldn't even stomach it after 3 bites. The lasagna was probably the best out of everything we ordered but it gets a 2.5/5. Nothing compared to that from Nostrano Italian Eatery! Was cooked to point - had a nice amount of cheese and sauce but again, that sauce!!! Not to our liking., Also had the highly acclaimed escargots-not bad but doused with garlic doesn't make these to die for! I've had escargot and these were as good as it gets for here but not as good as it gets in the culinary world! Happy to have tried this long standing institution but not happy that $75 didn't get my family a satisfying meal-I still had to make something for them to eat when they were done-well I guess not done since they sampled and were not satisfied!

Ordered a large pizza to go on a Friday night. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait, and pizza was right on time. Service was good and friendly. Pizza smelled amazing on the ride home. Sauce and toppings were top notch, crust was decent but not chewy like New Haven ahbeetz. Price was very fair. Overall I would say the pizza is very good, but not quite great. I think New Haven has spoiled me though as I am probably a tough critic.
