What a treat. Best ever mussels which were prepared in a pesto sauce. They were an appetizer but so rich and filling they could have been an entree for me. The grilled salmon was also memorable. First visit but not the last!

Overall --- DISAPPOINTING I used to eat at Lucas Local when it was in Newtown, CT. Came in expecting the same level of service and execution. What a let down. I ate at the bar. Place was not that busy. Here is the breakdown... FOOD: 6 oysters on half-shell ($3.25/each): - one of the oysters was so tiny, I assumed that most of it had fallen out of the shell when it was being shucked. - Delivered with a sliver of lemon so small (1/16th of a lemon???), I was only able to use on 3 oysters. Steak with garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus ($49): - Steak (supposedly center cut filet) was oddly shaped - looked like a dog had already taken a big bite out of the side of it. Just a lousy cut. - I ordered medium/rare. Steak was delivered medium/well. I could tell the moment my knife touched the steak - edges had a very hard/heavily charred crust. - Asparagus was only lightly grilled and bone dry. Practically raw. No evidence of EVO, or any seasoning to speak of. SERVICE: - Waitress/bartender didn't check on me until 15 minutes after my food arrived. She was consumed in banal conversation with some guy (apparently a regular) who was sharing the details of his failed relationship and struggles in the dating world. A real therapy session. I debated trying to get her attention earlier to give her a chance to fix the situation (or maybe get some relationship advice???), but it was clear that this ship was taking on water. I was too disappointed to bother at that point. CONCLUSION: This place has lost its way since its Newtown, CT days. Food quality is poor/inconsistent and service is weak. Score: 6/10

2nd time here for dinner, and did not disappoint. Swordfish entree was delicious, and calamari & tuna tartare appetizers as well. The special Manhattan cocktail (“Night at the Roxbury”) was absolutely excellent. Great overall experience & very good service

We were greeted by a friendly hostess and led to the bar since our table was still occupied. Great mocktails were created by a creative bartender. We were surprised when we went to our Captain's table! An extremely comfortable booth overlooking the bar and restaurant. The place was packed as usual but the food came out at a nice pace. Calamari and shishito peppers was a nice starter. Far Diavolo was tasty and my wife's salmon dish was amazing. At first I paused when I saw the desert priced at $14. When received, I was thoroughly pleased. A huge piece of chocolate cake surrounded by chocolate ganache and vanilla ice cream. You have to try it. Great experience!

Perfect place to have a craving for seafood. Their oysters are fresh and their seafood dishes are amazing. Would definitely recommend Mussels Isabella and Fire Kissed Octopus as appetizers and the Black Cod served over wild rice stir fry!
We've always experienced exceptional service at Lucas. Their food is impeccable, and their drinks are phenomenal. We actually bought a wedding party of 7 and they were on their a game. Thank you for being a part of our memorable experience!

Raw oysters were my favorite part. Lobster roll was okay and a bit overpriced for me. I think I prefer fresh boiled lobster instead. Escargot was a bit disappointing as I expected a little more. But I've had it at where you have it in a plate with lots of buttered garlic and fresh bread to dip in afterwards. The staff were nice and friendly. Atmosphere is cozy

Beautiful place, friendly people, but for the food quality and portions, it's too expensive. My $36 halibut was returned because it smelled of ammonia, and that could mean the fish was going bad. Service was professional and took it away with no charge.

Our dinner was wonderful! We came earlier but staff accomodate us with seats at the bar and prep our table in no time. Everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. We ordered grilled octopus dish, which was tasty and tender, poke bowl was super yamie and a very good portion. My husband ordered crawfish pot pie and really enjoyed it. And oysters were delicious! The only thing we had to send back - was escargot appetizer. (It was barely warm) Overall - great restaurant.
