Went for a meal to eat after a long day at work. Was looking for a simple, stomach filling place to eat for a decent price. This place was just that. The girl at the front who seems to be the daughter saw me and stood up to take my order. The food was ready in just a few minutes but they still tasted amazing. They're not world-changing, but you get what you pay for. I also had a nice conversation with the owner, making the space really comfortable. I've been to several Chinese takeout restaurants around states (I travel a lot), but this place gave me such a hearty experience I just had to rate it.

Coming here was borderline worst-case scenario for trying a new Chinese place. I paid $30 for general tso's chicken (more like greasy and soft hush-puppies with sauce in a cup) and lo mein. I had to throw the food out right after opening it up. It was repulsive. Kitchen didn't seem sanitary and what seemed like the owner's child was running the register, which of course would be fine, other than the fact that she was rude and also took literally 5 minutes just to ring me out for a simple order

Just moved in down the street so they are being tested. So far, after 3-4 visits... my impression is that many of the items are good and the service is almost on point but they get orders wrong on occasion and the quality is not the highest but the food is ready as timed and prices are tolerable. Got to sample more of the menu and I'll post back. They are so local and doing a good job so far. Never liked the Picture thing Chinese takeout places do. Looks dated and unappealing but I hate any pictures of food. They should have some tables or banquettes to eat in. Try them and decide for yourself!

I order a head and I was there a few minutes early and the lady throws the food in the bag ,no fork, no sauces no napkins and bag slide on the counter I’m b/@#& so that’s how they treat us….very nice humans

Placed a large order the other evening and food was correctly packaged, efficient and hot. They loss points because most of the food was flavorless. We were surprised at how little flavor the food had. This was the consensus of all five of us. Since we had a large order they did give us a complimentary Wonton soup but sadly, that had little flavor also.

Come here all the time, they were always so sweet to my grandmother and her accommodations. Even when she was in the hospital before she died, she still wanted their food! Sweet hard working family

Very bad experience. Never again. Strictly told them no mushroom and they simply cannot understand that. Plus, told them 3 times to put hot oil and they did not... Very bland and lousy taste. Sorry to say but you lost a customer in the neighbourhood.
I was expecting your typical Chinese take out. I was expecting to pay a premium we're in Newtown, Conn. after all. In my experience ordering from a busy Chinese take out is a little like ordering from the soup n**** I really don't have a lot to say except the lady taking my order got it wrong and left out the main course. Probably because of the other lines ringing loudly in the background. She also seemed aggravated by any questions pertaining to the menu. Maybe she needs a vacation.

Food has only ever been okay and customer service has never been polite or friendly on pick up. Many of their essential recipes are sub-par and leave a lot to be desired. If their prices reflected this, I would score them higher, but they are not especially cheap for college students. Here's hoping they improve yet.

The rating is strictly based on the food, which was nothing special. I dislike when Chinese restaurants give yellow rice instead of fried rice. That alone makes it a pass for me.
