Pretty good bar for cocktails in Newtown center. The cocktails were creative- I got the non regurts which had a yogurt base. While the cocktail was very good, it still had a very strong mezcal taste. I'm not a huge mezcal fan and wouldn't have gotten this but the waitress promised that the other ingredients in the drink would mask the smokey taste, it did not. I then went back to my go to cocktail and ordered a dirty martini. The waitress explained that they took their house marinated olives and muddled it in so you get an extra dirty martini and she was right on this one, I enjoyed very much. Overall, a very nice place to drink on a Saturday night especially because they have live music after 8p!

Wow! This place is the worst. Bartenders are so busy with their friends they can’t serve anyone else. And no one appreciates coming into a bar and getting the stink Eye. Why? Unknown… go to Cover 2 or anywhere else,- Matt feel free to call

Love this place. Having lived in Newtown for 3+ decades I can confidentily say this is the best place to go get a drink if you're a discerning imbiber. Their concoctions are not only delicious, but unique in a way that you can't find at any other establishment in Newtown.

The owners are so down to earth and know how to make a high quality drink! The first time I came here was when they were pretty new and it's been busy ever since. They had a little booklet menu of at least a dozen espresso martini variations with high quality liquor and specialty liqueurs from multiple countries. If you're not a drinker and want a coffee in the morning, to catch up on work or meet some friends, this is still a cute place. They serve espresso drinks all day.

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. The owner and all of the staff could not have been nicer. They curated the majority of the cocktail menu themselves with awesome innovative, new flavor combinations. If you’re into the classics, don’t worry because they have those as well. Everything is prepared like it is a work of art when it’s all of the perfect accents and flowers and decor on each beverage. They offer multiple different types of will want to try them all. now let’s talk snacks. I had the salt and vinegar chips with dip as well as the truffle flatbread. While both were good, the truffle flatbread was fantastic and I unfortunately had to share this with my husband who had originally told me he wasn’t that hungry. As soon as he tried to flatbread, he was hungry. Mixology is alive and well in Connecticut because of the spot. Jump in your car and go visit the spa and you will not be disappointed.** updating: this has become one of my favorite spots for a nightcap. The staff and owner are all amazing. The drinks are creative, diverse and oh so yummy. Think I’ll stop by tonight!
