Wow. Just wow. They actually lost my debit card, and I have no idea how. They gave me back the receipt with no card, and didn’t make much of an effort to find it, or even give a real apology for losing it. I would absolutely not recommend coming here.

Oh my god, if I could give this place zero stars, I would. My mom and I went out for dinner and they LOST our debit card. Actually, they never even brought it back to us and we had to go and ask for it. Turns out they gave our card and receipt to a different table and when they brought it back to us, the card was gone and no one could find it. And they barely even offered an apology. Unbelievable. They could have at least been more apologetic and offered some sort of compensation for losing our debit card.

Went to Villa on a recommendation and was more than pleasantly surprised. The chicken parm was tender and so tasty. The shrimp with spinach was beyond delicious. Almost afraid to make this recommendation because with a top-notch review, everyone might go there and I'd have to wait for a table. Thanks for making a dinner out really an occasion to celebrate!

OMG - We have lived in Newtown almost 40 Years and have not been to The Villa in awhile. We used to go often when the kids were little. We do dinner and take out at least 3 to 4 times a week. Actually, getting tired of the Newtown Dinners, wrong food, forgotten food and RUDE Owners/Servers or people handling take-out orders. My oldest son suggested The Villa, OMG what a pleasant/wonderful surprise. We did take-out, Soup, Duck and French Chicken, dinner came with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Veggies. Spinach and String Beans. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS - WHAT A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH. We were so pleased with our meal, I had to call and let them know how spectacular our Dinners were - even down to the bread that wasn't hard or stale. You now have returning customers - Thank You !!!!!

If you’ve never had good Italian food you may possibly like it here. The pizza is one level above dominos, the owner is a rude and disrespectful little guy and the waitstaff is unprofessional and rushes you to finish and leave. The atmosphere is old and outdated. The espresso drinks ordered were the worst I’ve had at any restaurant. The owner is not Italian as he would like you to believe.

Decided to try our favorite pizza place for a sit down dinner. Wow what a treat. There was a special with app - salad - main dish and desert. Totally ate every bite. Vito knows his stuff. Can’t wait till next week to see what’s next.

Honestly, this is probably a tough review for me to write. Probably the nicest people around-the wait staff and the owner, so sweet and so kind and go out of their way! The place itself is clean and nice and has the nicest outdoor patio in all of Newtown. As for the food itself, I really don't want to lambaste them because they are so sweet and so willing to accommodate but it wasn't for us...if you are a fan of Auggie's or Costello's in Danbury or Sal e Peppe in Newtown, then this is the spot for you and you won't be disappointed! The one negative I will say which i wish we were informed prior is dish of buttered pasta costing $12.00...it was a medium tin of buttered penne!! That just is not right!

Absolutely thrilled with dinner tonight. Odie was our server and it was a quiet night. We had dinner with my in-laws and my hero daughter. Food was amazing. Service was perfect and the price was right. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you from the Lauro family.

The Villa is a hidden gem in Sandy Hook! Each time I call in a take-out order or join friends for dinner, it's like visiting family! Genuine smiles and greetings from Vito, the servers and kitchen crew are always friendly! The pizza is a thin crust pie with a tasty tomato sauce. They also offer white pies. The toppings are plentiful! Their menu is full of a great variety of selections, including appetizers, salads, steak chicken & seafood. All food is made fresh to order and delicious!They do have a small bar where you can enjoy a cocktail while waiting for your take-out order! I enjoy the dirty vodka martini!

We stopped in for dinner not realizing they were closed on Mondays. There were cars in the lot so we went inside.They were having a private party in the back room but so kindly invited us to have a meal in their dining room since they were cooking anyway. Wow! We had our own private dinner which was delicious. They went out of their way for us with smiles on their faces and the service , food, and wine were all top notch. A new fave!
