First off the service was the worst I’ve actually ever seen. Food was cold and we waited well over an hour for a leather tasting steak while everyone else had finished their meal. Waitress never came back to our table to ask us if we needed drinks or anything. She was too busy flirting in the bar. We had to go into the bar to chase her down to pay her. Wouldn’t return to this place if it was free.

Recently ate in the bar area which is so noisy you can hardly have a conversation. The food is just okay, nothing special. I ordered a draft Sam Adams lager and it was definitely not Sam Adams lager. The waiter brought me another and it still was not Sam Adams lager. Go elsewhere.

Went to Doody’s yesterday after New Haven’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade ! We were so disappointed with the corned beef ! There was four of us . ( One dinner , 2 on rye w/swiss , and one Rueben ) Corned beef was so dry and tough we couldn’t believe it. Nice crowd and waitress was pleasant . We were so pumped up for our annual corned beef dinner ! ? Looks like it’s Tommy Sullivan’s for Saint Patrick’s Day ! ???

Came here for lunch and ordered their famous lasagna. It comes in two sizes, large and extra large. It's as good as any Italian restaurant. It's a full meal. They also have a popcorn machine that you can help your to and eat as much as you want. They have plenty of off street parking. Good food at a reasonable price.

Saw cockroaches walking across bar while I was trying to enjoy my beer. This is very unsanitary and will not be returning.

"locals" crowd... Some couples even share their partner arguments negative vibe, uncomfortable for others, but bartender seem to enjoy this locals obnoxious behavior. (Second visit). My first visit karaoke night, I asked bartender Sue to cash me out as I attempted to hand her cash ...several times... She ignored me each time as she continued to converse with two bikers must be her way to lure big tippers and locals. Sue was arrogant and rude, after three times asking to pay, I just sat next to bikers and talked to them. Then she gave me a nasty look and held out her hand. This bar is for locals and her tippers she catered to. There won't be a third visit.
