The food and service are amazing. The portion sizes are large and you will have enough to take home. Throughly enjoyed myMushroom risotto, My husband had the skirt steak and my daughter had the Meatloaf. MyYounger daughter had the crab cake appetizer for a main dish and said it was very good. There was s complimentary cheese board with olives, excellent! Every dish was flavorful. The drinks were just as good. I had a cosmo and it was on par. Definitely recommended. The lemon cello cake was also so good. I took it to go and ate it when I got home. Definitely glad I did not pass this up

I am so sad to write this bc this was hands down one of my favorite restaurants. Let me start with saying that this is fine dining and when we go here it's a splurge for a special occasion. We don't frequent these types of places. We went for Valentines with our family of 3 (our daughter is 11). We were put in the back in a tiny room that just isn't nice. Half the reason why we go here is the beautiful ambiance of the main dining room. However that back room, the wall paint is peeling and it's loud near the kitchen. We've never sat back there so we didn't know until we were seated and started. The main dining room was basically empty so I'm not sure why we were placed way back there. It felt less than fancy or special back there. We had 2 servers and they left any type of vehicle off of the grazing board. Hard to eat Brie and soft Cheeseballs without a cracker or melba toast or something. They did bring it when we asked and said it should have been there (no kidding). The salads weren't up to snuff either. The chips on top were weird and not the crispy onions they usually have. The apples or pears were hard and tart, not sweet soft and cinnamon like as usual. Our dairy free daughter had to order 3 times bc the server didn't know the menu well or what contained dairy. She's a foodie, not a chicken finger kid. The menu had changed since we had been there last (or maybe it was Valentines) but they didn't have as many nice steaks on the menu as they did before. My daughter wanted the chimmichurri for her filet but they never came back to check on us until it was nearly done. She had to eat without the sauce they usually bring bc it was getting cold. Our meals were only mediocre for the price and my cake was dry. Not as delicious as prior trips where we left in awe of the experience and taste. I have been there when Rick is there and he's usually all over quality and the service . It was to the point I looked to see if ownership changed. I'm disappointed. Add the auto 20% tip and it's just frustrating. If you're going to demand that (fine! I'm all for living wages) but also you need present that level of quality as well. It was subpar in the taste and service, honestly.

Great food, great staff. Went in for a late valentines dinner and we were instantly greeted very warmly and enthusiastically. COME HUNGRY!!! As a 6'6 260 Lb man I can attest that the portions are huge!! Will definitely be coming back again

Everything was wonderful! from the service to the the food we enjoyed it all. Karl was an excellent server, attentive and funny. One couple declare Nataz as their new favorite restaurant. The price fixed menu provides a great variety of options, which are all delicious, at a very affordable price. We can't wait to go back and try other menu options.

It was quite a different experience not your regular dining, really kind of funky dining room with a beautiful, big booth that you want to sit in very relaxing everyone's very professional. The food was fantastic included everything and they told you that all upfront, which was so nice from the bread to the grazing board. Dinner and dessert was fantastic.!

Our server was very well versed on the specials, was very attentive to our group and was a pleasure to talk to. The courses came out in a timely manner with no feeling of being rushed. All good was fresh, delicious and well plated. Would dine here again. A fantastic location for those special dinners!

We celebrated a friend's birthday last night. The service was extremely attentive. The food was excellent and the restaurant's acknowledgment of my friend's birthday was simply fabulous, which included a complimentary meatball and a hand written birthday wish in chocolate on their desert, complete with a candle and the staff singing Happy Birthday. Our waiter was Carl and he was wonderful. Mixed cocktails were on point and yummy. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We have been going to Nataz for MANY years and we will continue to do so.
drinks were good although 2nd glass of wine was warm - grapes on grazing board were frozen - salmon and chicken dinner good but steak was undercooked (rare for medium order) and cut was fatty - taken back to be cooked more and still came back red and mashed potatoes were cold - waitstaff did not let us finish one course before bringing the next course - chocolate cake very dry

We love this place and come here every year for our annual Secret Santa exchange. The booths are large enough to accommodate all of us and our gifts! The food is always the same top notch quality and the price is reasonable. We do wish you could bring back the BYOB aspect but understand pesky CT liquor laws. Overall always a great time!

This restaurant is truly a hidden gym in the middle of North Branford. The ambience is stunning and conducive to a very comfortable and elegant dining experience. The food was amazing. Our dishes were fresh and absolutely fantastic. The service was wonderful as well. I highly recommend this dining experience for a romantic evening or a small gathering. We have plans to be back very soon

This was our first time at Nataz, so we were looking forward to the experience. They have a 4-course prix fixe menu, the final price of which is determined by what entree you select. They first bring you a “grazing board” for everyone to share (selections of cheeses, meat, bread) and then you choose a salad, entree and dessert. Even with a nice bottle of wine and the 20% surcharge which is automatically tacked on (making tipping unnecessary unless one is feeling particularly generous), the final bill was not unreasonable. I would encourage others to try Nataz for themselves.
