We went there since it was highly reviewed. Waited 20 minutes to be seated. No problem, it is a busy restaurant.Eventually we got seated. The kids picked 4 small jam (1 flavor each) and they were thrilled to eat with their brunch. This Lady behind the bar told the waitress to just come to our table and take away the whole rack without even ask us, like their parents do not exist.Later I asked kindly to please bring back the jam rack as the kids were shocked. The lady explained that she sees to many kids wasting the small jam…well, not our kids. I understand that you have a concern, but, it is simply impolite to take stuffs away before even asking us.We did not waste anything and it is simply a prejudice.

Have been here twice recently. Had the corned beef and Swiss omelette this past visit. The service is friendly and nice. The coffee is hot and delicious and the food comes out sooooo fast. Get here early and don’t be scared to wait in line it’s worth it.

Reasonable prices for great food. They were packed busy when we came in on a Wednesday around 9am by 10am as we were finished people were mostly cleared out but still more than you would expect on a weekday! The service was still really fast and in a good mood. Eggs were done perfectly. Corned beef hash is homemade style; not canned.

Staff is friendly, efficient and responsive with coffee refills. The atmosphere is light and airy with plenty of natural sunlight to let in that great morning sun, cost is good and the place is very clean. On weekends expect a short wait. There is a small waiting area and we have had to wait outside but it goes quick and “Nook” people are friendly to talk with.Kid-friendliness: The staff is quick to supply high chairs as needed.

This place is a cute traditional breakfast spot. Very spacious homey dining area. Staff was very attentive, immediately acknowledged upon arrival and checked up numerous times throughout our visit. I ordered the scramble (broccoli, tomatoes, and feta) with the George's potatoes. The scramble was very good. Vegetables seemed fresh, but the George's hash was too burned for my liking, had to cut off the burned side to enjoy. My husband enjoyed his omelette. Overall good experience.

First time, you wait on the honor system. Total wait time was about 25 minutes which was great for a Saturday morning. Service was quick. I ordered the French Toast which was amazing. Really enjoyed the Honey Butter. I also ordered Mama's Corned Beef Hash. I didn't feel it was house made like advertised. It was not what I was expecting, tasted so-so and definitely not something I would order again I would go again, there were a few items I want to try.

The Breakfast Nook is amazing! From the staff, to the food and the atmosphere the experience was great! The staff including the owner, went above and beyond to make sure my time there was unmatched! So thankful for their warm and welcoming demeanor. The food was so great I went two days in a row. I’ll be sure to stop in each time I’m through North Haven.
