Their hours of operation are very odd they claim to be open on their website when they are not at all open there closed I'm sorry to say it I don't believe this place will last much longer if they cannot get everything in order You're waiting 45 minutes to an hour for coffee or even for food The prices are extremely pricey for what you get and the service is very slow do you feel very uncomfortable waiting for your food and coffee and it's like you're better off going somewhere elses. I ate at this restaurant and it left me with a sour feeling of not wanting to come back again when you order your food for example chicken and waffles you would think you would get chicken strips not chicken wings The waffles had a bad taste I'm sorry to say I will not be returning again.

A relatively new business that needs support. Unfortunately the small staff has a lot to do. The Hostess is also the waitress and cashier. This makes the whole service run slower. With only three tables to serve we had to wait 20 minutes for our food. The food is good but some things arrived cold and needed reheating. Super clean with plenty of seating. I hope they are still open when I stop by again.

Family and I were looking for a place tonhave breakfast and happened upon Empire Cafe. We decided to give it a try and were happy we did. Inside was spacious, clean, and super cute! Our server was very friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our breakfast very much, especially the delicious sausage gravy. Definitely would come again!

Don’t waste your time, ordered very simple things, like a chocolate milk and received a piping hot hot chocolate. They were “out” of the 2 things I wanted to order. Very very mysterious staff and place. I just can’t put my finger on why it is like this. It needs

The service was great, the place was very open and clean. My wife and I got the sausage gravy eggs Benedict. I'm originally from the south and had my doubts when I saw southern cuisine. The biscuits were from frozen and warmed up. They were also soggy from the amount of water coming off of the poached eggs. The home potatoes... Now I'm used to spicy food and these were a bit too spicy. For those who do not do spicy food, I advise switching these out with their fries. The gravy could have used a little more salt and pepper when it was made.It was good... but just wasn't pleased with the quality/price ratio.Cost for 2 plates of this and two coffees came to around $30+.

I just stopped in for the first time. Its Sunday morning and there is no wait. I had a perfect breakfast in a clean and beautiful place served by friendly people. They have great coffee and the potatoes are amazing!!! The prices are very reasonable especially for the quality of the food and service. I’m going to be eating here a lot.

Hello, I tried this place and please let me tell you this. I went there with my boyfriend and we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated then when we ordered coffee and water to drink it took over 45 minutes to get them both. There were only two other tables with people and one waitress the waiter did not feel like he should be helping the waitress out he made himself look like he was busy but was not at all busy he was just sweeping the same spot over and over for the 45 minutes while waiting for our orders to be taken when finally getting our food was over an hour later The food did not at all look like what the pictures said and they claim to have chicken and waffles with the gravy what you get is a very off taste waffles and you get chicken wings instead of a chicken strip without the gravy with this meal. I would not recommend this to any of my friends I will not be going back The price for what we had ordered we could have gotten at another dinner for half the price and exactly what we would order would be what we would expect to get this place I'm sorry has a lot of issues to deal with like hiring more weight staff members. I do not believe this place will last with the prices being very high and the food not what they claim it to be. I would like to say giving this place a 2 star is the best I can do unless they really change up everything and get a few extra waitresses to help the one waitress who did her job but was doing four jobs that have at least two waitresses could do

Most unprofessional staff I have ever been around. The only guy who cares is that new cook who actually cares about his job. That other cook swearing and cursing a few months ago was very unprofessional. This place turned me away 2 times for lack of food. How u have a good service cafe with no food. Poor cook can't even do his job. I give this place a few months if that and only because that rude cook is gone this new guy might save them! Buffets are great on Sundays and there's not any yelling coming from that kitchen anymore. But still never have the breakfast I want. If it happened to me and my family I'm sure others have been turned away for lack of food. So of the 4 times I been there first time in March 2023 rude yelling cook and my eggs were wrong and now last 2 times I was turned away for lack of food. 1 TIME we had buffet and the cook came out and was very pleasant he's gonna save that place seems like no one else knows what to do.

Must turned over cooks again ? I was there this past weekend and I ordered the sausage biscuits gravy eggs Benedict I ordered this dish because a few weeks ago I was in and it was delicious gravy perfect consistency this weekend the gravy tasted like you've been there for a week. A friend ordered fruittop waffle no whipped cream brown strawberries and dried out blueberries It was a little embarrassing considering I recommended we come eat at empire it was so good my first time there. Our waitress hardly spoke to us unfortunately our glasses were cloudy. What happened?Parking: Nice lot with plenty of parking

I went for a going away party. I was surprised, it was a nice off the beaten path place. Not hard to find. We were there at night, so there was a difference. We brought our food but I am quite sure the food was good there. Black owned place. Good sized parking lot, back and front. Service was excellent! The people who run it were very friendly. We brought some stuff but they had their own. We all had a very good time. They danced and partied until it was time to close. I appreciated how it was, very nice!! No trouble what so ever. My nephew and so to be niece really loved it. Must go back for lunch. Must say thank you to the coordinators and proprietors. Had a very nice time at your place of business. Thank you!!!

The wait was long for our food. The menu was limited on what food was available. The waitress had a attitude and she was very unprofessional. The food was over priced and horrible dry, burnt and tasteless no flavor. I asked to speak with the owner the cook stated if I want to see him book a photo session cause he's a photographer. I would not return. They restaurant don't open the hours that's posted and close before the hours posted. I wish you offered more vegetarian dishes as well as more vegetables and fish dishes. They didn't have all the items to make a fresh salad

Establishment was clean and my husband and I were greeted with a smile. The establishment wasn’t that busy, but the wait time for waitstaff to take our order and deliver food was long. We ordered breakfast, and noticed our waitstaff didn’t write anything down and prior to taking our order, some previous orders were wrong, so we anticipated our orders would be wrong also; and I was right, my order came incorrect, but it was corrected. We order the create your own combos with French toast. Our order came out with no butter; the French toast was dry and had way too much cinnamon, The rest of our breakfast was just ok. In my opinion the waitstaff should know the menu, write down orders so they come out correct, and management should be talking to patrons so he is aware of and can fix any problems patrons may have regarding their meal. You can give them a try and form your own opinion, but I will not be returning.
