Love this bar! Owner is extremely friendly and always welcoming, and the atmosphere is great.

I walked in here for a networking event and realized I was the only Black person in here out of at least 75 people so I immediately felt uncomfortable. As I walked to the back where all the patrons were seated, I watched them all stare at me as I walked to the registration table for the networking event. I could tell that all of them were probably from North Haven (mind you I live 3 mins, walking distance away from this place) or Wallingford (yuck), grew up together and all they know is Connecticut. Safe to say I will never be retuning to this establishment ever again.

At first I thought this was a cool bar, but when the old-timers sit around and make snarky judgments and side-eye you, it creates a really unpleasant environment. So, no thanks.
Oh it's like being home. Old school, new school hang out. Drinks are great. Gene and Nicole are just like family

Went to the bar 11:30 p.m. the bartender seem to me making out with her boyfriend and didn't want any new customers and turned us away at 11:30 p.m. saying she couldn't serve us even though this was the first place we showed up to drink at the night

Was there last night with my boyfriend. We had so many laughs with the bartender.....by the end of our conversation......we felt like she was a family member. 1 of the nicest people I ever met. Can't wait to go back and visit her. â¤
