We found a local ? gem last Wednesday! We were driving by and decided to stop at Giovanni's. We ordered a large 18" pizza with precooked bacon, black olives, mushrooms & onions. Thin and DELICIOUS.?The waitress was awesome, very attentive, and efficient.We will go back and thank you! ?

Ok rant time! Don't eat at Giovanni's in Northford anymore. First they no longer take credit cards for delivery orders, they are charging way too much for shit now, they charge for extra mayo & extra onions on their subs, extra sauce I understand but c'mon. Then they constantly screwing up our orders too.We ordered 5 subs and a pasta fagioli soup and it cost us $85.00 including tip! That's a little ridiculous! Anybody else agree?

Ordered take out tonight, SOOOOO disappointed. Fried ravioli had no flavor whatsoever... ricotta was so dry. Ordered a half pepperoni and eggplant, corn meal on bottom was so burnt that's all you could taste. Gonna look for a new pizza place. Not going back there.

Awesome! I order the same thing every week ! Calzone with hot peppers hold the ricotta and an extra small sauce in the side ! Alway hits the spot ! Delivery is quick and consistent!!! Keep up the great work!

I've gotten takeout pizza from here 3-4 times. They have a $13 special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (?). Excellent pie, especially for the price. Haven't eaten there so can't comment on the service, but the takeout is excellent.Parking: Ample parking, though the lot is not especially well lit

Love the pizza! Customer service ehh my last two online orders were messed up. One, I ordered and paid for and when my husband picked it up, he paid again and was given the wrong order. Had to go all the way back for them to fix it. My last order was for 3 large pizzas for my sons bday, I decided to pay at the store but if my last experience, when my husband got there they told him they didnt have the order. When I called in to give them my order # they said oh we found your pizza......how do you loose 3 large pizza?

If you want great New Haven style pizza this is a great place to get some. Prices are fair and the food is fantastic. Calzones, stuffed breads, salads, and full dinners are all well above good and nearing excellent. This is a neighborhood gym you should really try.

This is our Monday night pizza place. We get a large mozzarella pizza with mushrooms to go. The pizza is always good when we get it home and there is plenty left over. The price is good, as well. I've never had an issue with Giovanni's and it's one of the only pizza places open on Mondays, so it's a win/win. I'm actually hoping my husband will go there tonight to get us a pizza for dinner!

If you set out to try and run a business badly you wouldn't be able to do it this poorly. The pizza: actually very good. Comparable with all places around and good ingredients. Service: abysmal. They make the wrong pizza, deliver it at the wrong times, don't deliver it at all, deliver it cold, spill it, drop it, etc. the pizza is great....if you could go there, order directly with pizza maker, and then stand there while they make it and then grab it before any other humans can screw it up.

Ordered take out picked up lobster raviolis taste great but the actual pasta was hard on the edges and for 17.95 there were only 6 medium size and a piece of shrimp I didn't order don't like shrimp, also ordered meatballs they had no taste of meat and the texture my mouth felt was like eating dry bread also had tossed salad which was sandie I'm sorry I normally enjoy their food but this time I don't know what happened !

Best pizza around, thin crust and the sauce is delicious. I also value their service. I always order and pick up myself since I'm well aware of the issues around delivery. I never had a problem and my order always ready when I arrive.
