This place is not too far from my new apartment and it is a MUST. Its very authentic and inviting especially to newcomers who eventually become family at this excellent establishment! The Pollo Saltado is AMAZING but the Pollo Empanizado is can’t miss as well! Can't wait to try their tacos!!!

The food is consistently delicious. Me and my boyfriend get take out from here at least twice a week because Its so good. The pollo saltado is a delicious and the breaded chicken cutlet is aswell. The chicken is cream sauce is amazing but it is on the bone for those who do not like that. They cook chicken to perfection and it’s consistent which is the best part. You dont come here for atmosphere but for good food at fair prices!

Spent $30.00 on pupusas, the pupusas were not good at all, not even the cabbage mix, When I open the container the pupusas were mixed In ordered chicken and pork there was suppose to be cheese in them but NO CHEESE, I’m ? sure they were all Chicken. I consider that they were just thrown in the container with black edges, not appealing to the eye at all! Will never go back there. The staff isn’t really welcoming. As the world changes, life is harder over all for everyone financially, it’s sad to go out with your family to purchase a meal and be so disappointed and not be able to eat what you purchased. Again Not welcoming and prices are extremely high.

Fantastic food, I very much enjoyed it. Came upon the place by accident due to a MetroNorth layover and couldn't have been more pleased!

I decided to try this spot out recently after a recommendation and very happy I did. The steak baleada is incredible. Add a bit of Cholula and thank me later.

Was enjoying the Seafood Soup until I found plastic in my dish. Told the hostess and she explained when they cut the seafood soup from the plastic pouch it comes that’s when plastic might have fallen in. They need to take their time in the future. The restaurant was not that busy @ 2:30p on Friday. At most only 2 other customers were sitting and they both have their food.

As a born Salvadorean I was ashamed and embarrassed by the food absolutely disgusting they should also be ashame for serving that and call it authentic salvadorean foodThe pupusas were super greasy lack of flavor and mushy the dough was still not cook all the way and they are using the wrong cheeseThey should find something else to do for food and take that salvadorean food sign down they are an embarrassment

I only get the tacos, which I continuously raved about to friends. Chicken, steak and shrimp, all come with onions and cilantro, and green (mild) or red (hot) sauce on the side. The prices have gone up, but I still try to treat myself once in a while. But I have to say, the last time I had them there was less meat, but maybe because the chunks were cut bigger, (which to me made the meat dry) I’m not sure but they weren’t the same tacos I’ve been having for 3yrs now. I won’t give up on them yet because the ladies are really nice and it’s the 1st time I was disappointed. Hopefully it was just an off day. Will definitely be back to try again.

Food was great, but a few mistakes that shouldn’t have happened occurred. Mistakenly brought over some food, charged us for it when we thought it came with it since we never ordered it and had asked us numerous times about a different tables order.

I was so excited to find a place that does authentic Papusas but unfortunately these were the worst papusas I’ve ever had. I ordered the pork and chicken and I’m pretty sure they only gave me chicken but I can’t be sure because you can only taste the cheese that is so oily. At least you should be able to see the chicken but I think they blended everything together. Very disappointed and will be calling this morning for a refund this picture is of the “chicharrone papusa” and that is how it looks. Terrible.

After 5 years, I'm finally leaving the review this restaurant has earned. The food is excellent. The servings are oversized. The prices are economical. The staff and owners that are regularly present, are polite and helpful. The interior is recently remodeled and clean enough to earn multiple awards from the city, which are proudly displayed on the wall. All of that, was not enough to motivate me to write this review, until I witnessed the good nature of one of the owners tonight. Maryville took the time to talk with an obviously struggling young man who walked through the door. While his food was being prepared, she spoke to him as though she were a professional mental health counselor! You could see the difference she made. These people simply deserve your business and you'll be pleased you stopped in.

Worth the trip to the ATM. The chicken burrito is to die for, and the red sauce is just the right amount of heat.
