I found this place awhile back after having a discussion about my favorite Spanish wine "Valserrano" at The Wine Thief in New Haven. The wine maker was doing a tasting at Fountainhead which is only 5 minutes from my house in Norwalk. I purchased some of my favorite wine that day and recently decided to try 6 different wines from different vintners at Fountainhead. So far each wine has been on point and delicious. Simply the best, and not just because of the great, unusual, small vineyard wines you'll find. It's the people that make it. Thank you Mike & Mark for keeping it fun all these years.

Mike and Tony are a wellspring of knowledge and are always more than happy to help find something for any occasion and any price range. It’s clear they take a lot of consideration in their offerings and are not wines you’ll find in other stores. Their pairing dinners are incredibly fun as well.
