Ordered on Uber Eats late on a weeknight since not many other chinese restaurants are open past 9. Never been here before, and will not be returning. While it wasn’t absolutely terrible, Chu Fai Garden has way better cheap chinese food. I got the beef and broccoli combo, the beef was chewy and did not taste like beef at all. It was a pinkish gray color and smothered in a thick brown sauce. Tasted like fat from some other sort of animal. The broccoli was fine, and the fried rice was mediocre. It had a weird burnt, smoky taste. Crab rangoons were average, egg rolls were average, general tso’s chicken was average. The french fries are good but need salt. It was doable in the time crunch I was in, but by no means would this ever be a spot I would regularly go to. Everything was just meh, except for the beef which my boyfriend and I both spit out. Don’t come here unless you are desperate and in a pinch for dinner. I’ll be surprised if I make it through the night without getting sick from the beef.

I ordered a sweet and sour chicken and shrimp Lo mein. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like gelatin and the lo mein had a thick consistency. The rice had no seasoning. Would not recommend at all.

This is hands down the worst chinese I've ever had, and i've eaten at the Trumbull mall so that speaks for itself. Nothing has flavor, the "chicken" is like chewing on old ligaments, the hot and sour soup is what i imagine would be found at the bottom of a pond after the first spring time melt. the steamed dumplings are mushy rubber, and i know that's an oxymoron. and the prices are astronomical even while considering JB's inflation. avoid this place like the plague!!

Ordered here through Uber Eats & found a “black short hair” in my rice. Called the place back & the lady on the phone told me she cannot do anything about it. She told me to call Uber. I asked her “what her name was?” She put me on mute and told me “her name was Judy.” I’m pretty sure her name wasn’t Judy. Very unprofessional way to handle this small situation!!!!!
