This is my favorite spot in Norwalk! If you want sushi and you want ramen and you wanna sing, drink and dance this is the place to go!The staff are super friendly as well!!The karaoke scene is always a fun vibe and there’s even a DJ most weekendsI personally enjoy getting the Shoyu Ramen and the spicy tuna roll but there’s a bunch of other great things on the menu as wellYou may know Colony, Sedona and Barcelona but in my opinion the best quality food at the waypoint building is HarukiHIGHLY RECOMMEND??

Ordered in from here and the ramen was excellent! Got the spicy miso with ground pork. Veggie fried rice was also good.

This was tremendous. I just took my son there. we told the waiter (who i think is also the chef) that it was my son's first shushi. He made a recommendation and brought out a great sample. My son loved it. We ordered so much food, but ended up eating it all. excellent food! and the guy who waited on us was so proud of his place and he was so kind to us. You can tell he loves to serve his food and make people happy. I highly recommend this place.

We ordered take out. Quickly prepared, very tasty -everyone was able to order something they liked. Recommend the shumai and chicken fried rice entree size. Friendly staff -Will order again.

Bruhhhhhh.... recently landed @ HR&I for a quick lunch while in the area and suffering from a serious slurrrp attack seriously in need of soupy noodz!Ramen isnt just an obsession to some its an addiction and I fall into both categories.Me n my company were really looking forward to it but perhaps we made a mistake coming at lunch. Our waitress/host was not very good at all. N I feel bad since she seemed very nice but no knowledge of the menu, of the style of food, of how to be attentive (never asked us one thing). Basically threw the whole experience off right from the start.Overall the food is executed well although how close to traditional im not exactly sure.... the different ramens arent very descriptive as you get other items in your bowl that aren't listed in print. (Me not being a fan of menma would have omitted it had I known, ruined the whole thing for me)Was more a fan of the apps then the mains. The flavors are there and they have some unique offerings, I would suggest coming for dinner. We'll see if we come back in the future n try that service then.

Food is consistently amazing. The staff go out of their way to make you feel like family not just a customer. I have never seen owners work so hard with their staff to ensure everyone has a positive experience. I plan to keep coming back for years to come. Best sushi too! Karaoke nights on the weekend are the bomb dot com. Keep up the great work and for those wanting to try something new, Haruki does not disappoint.

Fantastic Japanese cuisine. Truly reminds me of home. Highly recommend anyone who would like authentic Japanese plates

I would probably give this place 3 stars but since the average is 4.7 I need to bring it down. This is nowhere close to a 4.7.The sushi is awful, the ramen is okay, and the service is not good. I had their wagyu tacos which were just okay, would not recommend. Everything is too pricey for the poor quality. And there is something funky with their bathroom, the little hall that leads to it smells absolutely awful, the bathroom itself is pretty clean. I think there is some cleaning closet there with either wet dirty rags or some dead animal.Overall this place is too pricey for the poor quality of the food. Especially the sushi, I cannot stress enough how bad it was. The ginger was old , the wasabi not spicy at all, the spicy mayo too liquidy and not spicy.

Let's start with the drinks. Some may have ingredients foreign to you or flavor profiles that you would not have thought to combine, but that's what it's all about at Haruki--opening your mind and trying something new. Don't be intimidated by the drink names either. As I mentioned before, the cocktail is meticulously crafted to bring you the drink you are familiar with while adding new essences to it. The Karakumo drink is a pisco sour-esque drink that brings in the citrus notes of yuzu with a hint of spice from a basil and chili infusion. The Ukiyo is a classic gin and tonic blended with a violette liqueur to get you that Insta-worthy shot. The Silver Seagrass is a coconut and rum based drink that will sweep you away and bring you to a tropical getaway. I am a big fan of their small plates. It gives me a nostalgic feeling and reminds me of when I would visit the food courts of Mitsuwa Marketplace as a kid (The closest one to us is located in New Jersey!). The takoyaki balls would have to be my number one pick on their menu. It is a pancake ball with octopus pieces topped with a house-made BBQ sauce and shaved bonito flakes. Other favorites include their agedashi tofu, karaage, and tori kamo tsukune. The agedashi tofu is a lightly fried tofu topped with mushrooms, bonito flakes, and a soy dashi broth. It is a nice earthy and smoky dish. The karaage is a lightly fried chicken seasoned with garlic, salt, and pepper. The tori kamo tsukune is nothing I'd ever seen before. This is one of the more unique dishes on the menu. They are meatballs made of duck and chicken, topped with a lightly poached egg. The egg is served on the side for those who are less adventurous with this combo. It comes with their homemade teriyaki sauce. (Note: I would happily drink the teriyaki sauce with a straw, it is THAT good.) If small plates are not your style and you want a hearty bowl of ramen, they have just that. They have both broth noodles and brothless noodles. Their ramen tare takes about two weeks to make. Once that is ready, the broth is boiled for another 10 hours. To date, I've only had their brothless ones so I will have to report back on their soup. I'm sure it is top notch, just like the rest of the menu. The asari men is a special on their summer menu. It is topped with clams and lots and lots of garlic. I am not willing to admit how quickly I scarfed down these noodles. The spicy mazemen is another classic on their menu. It is served with ground pork and a poached egg. The sauce that harbors the noodles is packed with chili sauce, chili oil, and yes - more garlic.
