food is VERY fresh. i guess i would be considered a “ramen connoisseur” and i can taste that everything is fresh. i had ramen & pho. also very well priced & filling ! expect to take food home. i’m a little sad they don’t have dessert ): but it won’t affect me coming back as this location is in an area where i’m sure you can pick something up close by. walking distance from the aquarium. i will def be back !!

We live an hour 1/2 away and Mecha has become our little annual tradition. The vibe is warm and comfy. Servers are on top of service. Great attention to detail. And the food…. Absolutely delicious. My wife is Vietnamese and commends the quality of the Pho! The tofu Bahn Mi was a pleasant surprise. I can’t state enough how much we love it here! Cheers!

Ramen broth was sort of thin and lacked any richness and body. The Kimchee Fried Rice had too much fish sauce and there was too much Chinese Five Spice Powder in another dish I can’t recall.

Not bad but not astonishing. Fun place to meet up with friends. Haruki Ramen & Izakaya is objectively better for food quality but is not right on Washington street. If you want to splurge then the boa is a nice appetizer at Mecha. Also has vegetarian options so good place if you are looking for vegetarian plates .

Food, Service and Ambiance is excellent! Loved the Red Oil dumplings, the Firecracker wings and the Kimchi Fried rice.

Great music and edamame. Never had ramen with a star anise flavor…

Cool vibe | Great quality | Value for money When I was visiting Connecticut, mainly in Norwalk I went to Mecha Noodle Bar on a casual Wednesday night. This area is chalk filled with tons of restaurants and bars. I was surprised to see how busy it was on a week night so I can only imagine what it would look like on a weekend. We parked in the rear of the building, paid parking. The place is unassuming from the outside but totally transformative on the inside. It's longer than it is wide, more of a galley style. The decor, tables, bar etc are all themed and are pretty vibey. I ordered the chicken ramen and it was one of the best I've had. The broth was super flavourful, you for many pieces of well cooked chicken and all of the standard ramen toppings. Upon request, they brought me hot sauce which seemed house made to me. The noodles were also a good quality. I really had no complaints. Service was quick and the portion was large. Great for a nice and quick bite if you're in a pinch!

Your waitress spilled a bubble tea all over my back. She apologized and gave my cousin a new one (considering the first was on the floor, in my shirt, and on my other cousin’s coat) but I feel that’s the least you can do. Your manager didn’t comp any items, nor did he seem to care. My family and I visit Mecha every time we’re in Norwalk but this definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.
