We had my mom's Celebration of Life reception at Ponza's upstairs room. The room was beautifully decorated, light and airy with an abundance of space. Various seating arrangements (hi-tops, banquettes, etc.) gave the space a great visual feel. ALL of my food choices were plentiful, delicious and perfectly presented in a buffet style. (Get the antipasto platter... and their meatballs, amazing!) And don't get me started on the desserts. The owner/manager (Veronica) worked tirelessly for me in getting the set up exactly right. They have a small service bar upstairs, and the bartender was super friendly and 'on point' with the drinks. Made it really easy for folks to get beverages without having to go down to the main level for service. The wonderful staff kept an eye on the food and when it appeared that we were running low, they always let me know and asked if I wanted more or something else. They also have three plasma tv's where we were able to put in videos of my mom and play them throughout the evening, along with piping in a music channel of our choice. Linen tablecloths, tea lights on every table... Our guests were very, very impressed. All in all, an event that surpassed my expectations!!! I wish I thought to take photos of the space... but do yourself a favor... go check it out for yourself!!! I certainly will be back : )

I’m not one to usually write a bad review, but I think that my recent experiences render one. A few weeks ago, I called Ponza and asked them if they deliver in-house, and they told me yes. I ordered my food and it was delivered a short time later. All was good. Then I called one week after that for delivery and they told me that they don’t deliver. On numerous occasions I’ve ordered a meatball Parmesan grinder for takeout dinner without an issue. Tonight I called to order this (for pickup, because you know now suddenly they don’t deliver) and they told me that the meatball grinder doesn’t sell enough so it’s only on the lunch menu. The menu itself explicitly says that sandwiches are available all day for takeout. The service here is extremely inconsistent. I’ve never had this problem at any other restaurant. They delivered, now they don’t. I was allowed to order a sandwich for takeout dinner; and now they don’t do that anymore. It’s really frustrating and tonight I ended up not an order. Ponza has, at least for a while, lost a customer in me.

I've driven past this place a million times and FINALLY went because they had a good dance band playing. My awesome date and I had a great meal before we danced. The bread is worth the trip alone, and their vodka sauce was the best I've ever had (and I've tried many). Pimpinella played great dance music the whole time. If you like to dance as we do, you won't sit down (unless you need to catch your breath)!

I was amazed by the place, it has a very calm and elegant internal atmosphere, they also have an external part with live music and more joy; The food is delicious, the "Pollo Marsela" highly recommended, as well as the "Carrot Cake" is something not to be missed. But the most sensational thing is the attention, they are super friendly, JENARO is a great waiter, he recommended dishes to us, made us feel comfortable, and creates a warm and happy atmosphere. As an additional point, they have good prices in relation to the great experience you have. Super recommended ? I give it more than 5 stars.

I enjoyed my food here! Only issue I had was with the serving size of the Pollo Limone. There was only one cutlet which was a bit surprising but it still had great taste and flavor. Would have gotten 5 stars had the portion been a bit more generous. Not a deal breaker though. I'll be back. The service was great and the waitress was a real sweetheart.

Outstanding experience, from the moment we entered to when we got up to leave, everything was perfect. The homemade bread was brought out and quickly was devoured, simply due to the fact that it was fresh and hit the spot. The shrimp cocktail sauce was excellent (very spicy sauce, just the way I like it) and was a nice dovetail to what I ordered as my main entree: Zuppa Di Pesce. Loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, mussels and calamari, this blend of seafood paired perfectly with the sauce, which I chose as fra diavolo. As perfect as this was, what impressed me as much as the sauce were the noodles: the fresh linguine was cooked to perfection, allowing the sauce and seafood to work together in perfect harmony. I told the owner that this was an unbelievable culinary experience, and that they'll be seeing me slowly become a regular.

Food is nothing special. We ordered few items and all are underwhelming. Bread is good , it’s warm. You can google recipes and make them yourself which probably will taste the same.
