Of all the spots on the strip, the Public Wine Bar seemed the most inviting. Branzino dinner tasty and bountiful wine selection. Excellent service, and chill atmosphere

The entire menu is filled with gastro delights. Was there for Sunday brunch. Excellent choices. Hard to decide. The breakfast burger was excellent. Bottomless mimosas and great cappuccino. Going back very soon. Jose provides great service.

All I have to say the manager and every one working there is rude. They think they can talk down on you I am very disappointed in this place and the service. You need new staff ASAP.

The food was excellent as was the service. The only reason we don't give it 5 stars overall is there was a DJ playing and we really just wanted to talk. There didn't seem to be a lot of people there for the music. It is a lovely restaurant and bar, and loud music just wasn't necessary for the experience. Maybe if the volume had been a little lower... But it is definitely one of our go-to restaurants in SoNo.

Best chicken I've ever had, literally. My husband also really enjoyed his steak with chimichurri sauce. It was a nice surprise to receive my bottle of wine for half price on Monday, and I enjoyed my leftovers on Tuesday. :) We will be back!

I. Had the time of my life.I never felt this way before I swear. And I owe it all to you (public bar)People I am still buzzing off this place. Had uncles party here and we danced the night away. Fun time I am not going to lie. They made us all feel good and like real men and women. The service, the lighting, the music it just all came together last night. Let’s do it again Fred and I will keep dancing rounds with my lady like we are in love. No do over and no regrets keep it real.

Top notch service! Amazing happy hour and it’s 7 days a week! Nice wine pours too. Would love more vegan options

The bald Ecuadorian owner kicked me out and threatened me by throwing a drink at me because I spilled a water! Would not come again 0/10. Wine was mid! Go to tablao instead :)

The food is extremely lackluster. Had to return both items i ordered: 1) lobster benedict- 1st attempt by the chef was over cooked hard poached eggs, 2nd attempt was undercooked loose eggs, home fried were soggy and gummy. 2) lobster mac and cheese- $28 meal, very little lobster mixed into the mac n cheese, seemed more like lobster flavored mac and cheese (not worth it). French fries and steak and eggs were good. Overall, Would not recommend the restaurant.

1000/10 food is ALWAYS good and they have the best drinks in CT.

Upon arrival we waited around for about 10 minutes to be seated when we had reservations and our table was ready. Not sure what we were waiting for. Once seated we checked out the menu and started ordering drinks. One person asked for a strawberry lemonade and was told by a manager that it could be made. The drink was nothing like a lemonade so she asked for something else after taking one sip. The manager told her that he would have to charge her since he made it specifically for her. Then another guest ordered a soda which was very flat and when she told the manager about it and his response was that's what we have. Terrible service! Will not be returning. We came here to celebrate Mother's Day and ended leaving and going across the street to Evaritos. Upon arrival at Evaritos we were instantly greeted and the whole vibe was 100 percent better. Public's may need to take a course on customer service and hospitality.

This place nails it on all accounts- food is fantastic, drink options are abundant, and the vibe in the evening is fine dining but relaxed and unpretentious. One of the best spots in SoNo.
