I recommend you get a shot of expresso added to a coffee to go while you wait! The flavor profile of the coffee and expresso is amazing! I have been called a coffee snob and this place doesn't fail me. The price point is great for coffee that's superior to Starbucks and cheaper! This place is a god sent for coffee and tea lovers

Where do I start Ward Coffee the Greatest Best Smelling Most Awesome Store in all of Newark. Coffee from almost everywhere Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Brazil, and Kona, just to name a few. Flavored coffee as in Jamaican Me Crazy, Blueberry, Cinnamon, Eggnog, Raspberry, Wow and Sinful Joy. I have been going to Wards. Since I was 15, I would get roasted peanuts and Candy. Once, I turned 19 and started drinking coffee. I returned to Wards for more than my treats. I returned for their World Famous Wards coffee. On one day I went into Wards feeling Happy upon leaving Wards I was in Pure Joy. In my bag was French Vanilla, Kona, Wow, Cinnamon, and House Blend. Wards carry fresh teas and packaged teas for all the people who forgot we won the war. :D Wards make the Iced Coffee, Cappuccino, Latte an Espresso. Roasted peanuts are for sale also bagged salt roasted peanuts. Candy, cookies and packaged pastries for your sweet tooth. Yes TM Wards is just that Phenomenal. Whenever I am here I stay calm focus on what I need not what I want. I have to or I will spend hundreds of dollars in here. You want to try a flavor before you buy they brew some of the flavors. 12, 16, 20 and 24oz today I had Jamaican Me Crazy in my cup and ground for home. My haul was modest only a total of 3lbs in 4 bags. Phenomenal just plain Phenomenal I so love this Store since 1984-85. I try and try to leave Newark but yet TM Wards always bring me back.

I did not believe the Yelp hype, but it's true, this place is superb! Everything about this place screams quality. Everything I've eaten here is delicious. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. TM Ward Coffee Co is a tight running operation.
I tell you , God knows what he does! I'm a coffee aficionado so it was pretty funny that I wind up moving across the street from this crown jewel! I'd throw my momma in front of the path train for a cup of this coffee, it's that delicious & robust! If you're looking for a cup of coffee with kick they offer it!

We love the Hazelnut blend, Breakfast blend and Founders blend. They also have a great assortment of nuts. I wish more of them were dairy-free / egg-free. Their store business hours were kind of frustrating before the pandemic. But considering this pandemic, it doesn't really matter now. We order coffee from TM Ward. We overall love it (minus the weird store hours and few vegan options!)

Ordered for the first time, and very, very happy with their coffee! Got the Orange Monkey and WOW in pods. Both are delicious, smooth, and not bitter at all! Their customer service follow up was a pleasant surprise, and very appreciated in today's times where not many companies are even open. They have definitely picked up a new permanent customer!!
