Googled places to eat while in the area and we gave this place a shot. Nice ambience and the owner was very nice. Unfortunately that's the only good thing about this place. Ordered the prime burger with truffle fries medium well. Burger was on the rarer side and everything was cool temp wise. It tasted like chopped meat taken out of the package and just cooked. No seasoning at all. No truffle flavor whatsoever and just a huge disappointment when you spend your hard earned money when you go out to eat. Not to mention was was charged $2 for my drink being on the rocks which I've never seen before. The chefs here need a lesson.

Steak Quesadilla was perfect- lots of steak and cheese and fillings. Comes with a good sauce that I also used with my sliders. Mac n cheese balls were perfect. Wings were fantastic- ordered more for home. Steven very polite. Definitely coming back!!

Went here with my fiance and 3 kids. It was empty so it was nice that we were able to eat and not feel rushed or anything. The food was alright. We got burgers, they were supposed to be medium but got them well done. There also werent many fries so my kids definitely didn't enjoy that. The staff was great though, very attentive and since we were the only ones there, they kept making sure we were ok. Would give another try if we're ever in the neighborhood again.

Food was inedible as I ordered a medium rare burger and the cow still had life in it (raw). To add insult to injury the cow came with a friend crawling small (roach) under the parchment paper which was promptly dispatched. It was still charged to the bill and honestly your money is spent better elsewhere.

Omg!! I don’t know where to start, hardly anyone in there ( on a Friday) and to see they have 4 stars makes me think the employees must be reviewing it. Went with friends last week and the waitresses are inattentive food not really good, well it was bad. Wings were okay.. I’d say they need to call in chef Ramsey for help. I don’t like bugs on my salad and I like waitress who deserves a tip. Believe it or not this review is to help you Hire exterminator and get better staff.

Six of us had a reservation for Saturday night. To keep it simple... the service was awful, the food order was wrong for just about everyone and one person waited for their order 30 min after everyone else (it's just a burger people, not that hard). The burgers we not made well (fast, sloppy & undercooked). The place was empty (no surprise). My guess is they'll be closed in a month or so.

We arrived at 5:53 for a 6 PM reservation, not that we needed one. Despite only one four top occupied and a couple of people seated at a small bar, we weren't greeted for a full two minutes upon walking in. After being seated and shown our menus, we were pleasantly taken aback by the decor, which was a homey blend of a rural sports bar and a hip evening spot for young couples. The plant fixtures and color palette of the walls and tables were actually quite pleasing to the eye. However, absurdly there were three young waitresses, who for a good 70% of the time, were behind the bar at the same time, and sporadically checked tables, but the diners seemed much like an afterthought compared to the patrons at the bar. Perhaps the name "Burger Bar" should have dropped the first word from the name.We ordered appetizers and entrees after about 12 minutes seated, and the waitress taking our order kindly let us know that there was a Happy Hour menu with one of the items we ordered, which saved us over 50% on that selection, which was very courteous! The speed of both courses was incredibly fast, but notably, the entrees arrived before we were finished with our apps, and not once were we checked on by our waitress once we had been served. I would have loved to get some straws since every other patron with drinks had straws except for us.Our Steak Empanadas (2 per serving = $5, along with a light avocado, onion, and cilantro garnish) and Mac and Cheese Bites (2 per order = $13) arrived. Our empanadas had a nicely flavored interior and exterior pastry but were overcooked and dry. The sauce, supposedly a creamy chipotle dipping sauce was hideously bland. The mac and cheese bites were perfectly fried, crisp, and flavorful, though slightly underseasoned and just short of being adequately heated in the center, though the creamy sauce these were served with was delicious with an incredible kick. Definitely the winner between the two appetizers. Our entrees arrived. I ordered the American Prime Burger ("8oz prime beef burger, American cheese, mushrooms, onions, and truffle oil," $17), medium, while my wife ordered the BunJovi Burger ("Ground beef, bacon, local fried egg, coleslaw, pesto, provolone cheese," $18), medium as well. Both came cooked medium well but had patties that were seasoned quite nicely and much more richly flavored than many small burger joints we've been to. My Prime Burger, despite being slightly overcooked was juicy, and moist, and the onions and mushrooms were nicely sauteed, despite the ratio being somewhat off compared to the heaping of lettuce on the burger, and without a hint of truffle aroma to be found. My wife's BunJovi had the same delicious strengths in the seasoning and juiciness of the meat, though her coleslaw was overpoweringly sweet, and the pesto, dabbed in the center instead of distributed evenly, lacked the signature saltiness that's expected with such an iconic sauce. Both burgers also came with mediocre fries that tasted more of cardboard than potato, and the same bland chipotle sauce that came with the empanadas. Overall as far as burger places go, the trendy ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant itself were hampered by the confused service (I am still not sure which of the three servers is getting my tip, as all three served different functions through our meal), and anemic bland garnishes, though the flavor and juiciness of the beef patties will be remembered as high points for a good while.

I love this place. I came in with my 2 sins 2 weeks ago rugby after a terrible no service at Donovans. Burger bar is great. This place made us feel so comfortable. We had the best time. The waitress is super nice. And you just have to go experience this place for yourself. Family, date, or just chill. It's all the way around cool.Thank youKid-friendliness: This place is great. So much to say. I'm just going back. ?

I’m a Culinary Institute of America (CIA) graduate, I studied full time for an associates degree in culinary Arts and hospitality. The CIA is by far the most well regarded Culinary Institute in the United States and even worldwide. With some alumni even being regarded as the best chef and restaurateurs in the country. I say this because I want my words to be recognized as an educated opinion and one that can be trusted. My experience at Burger Bar was subpar, while waiters were genuine and nice, their ability to fulfill our request was lacking. I ordered truffle fries and received regular fries, when I requested my truffle fries they came back with another order of regular fries. It was not until my third request did I get my truffle fries. As if this was not bad enough my burger was overcooked, and not even by a little bit. I ordered medium and got a well done. The food was under seasoned and lacked flavor and to make matters worse, overpriced. There are for sure better and cheaper options just around the corner. I am not one to tell people what they should and should not like or where they should or should not go, but I give my opinion to whomever wants to formulate their own before spending way too much for average food and drinks that took way too long to reach their table.

Pretty yummy food and a cool-looking place. Despite coming during dinner time on the weekend, it was almost empty. The food came out fast but our server was not very attentive. We waited a long time just to get our check at the end of our meal.
