Wave Hill Bread emerges as a gem for those in pursuit of artisanal breads and pastries, channeling the essence of a quaint European bakery into every loaf and scone. The bakery shines particularly bright with its pumpernickel baguette and blueberry scone. The pumpernickel baguette, a true artisan's creation, boasts a dark, slightly crisp crust that beautifully complements its soft, flavor-rich interior. Made with rye flour, its depth of flavor turns each bite into a delightful experience, whether savored alone, as part of a sandwich, or alongside cheese. The blueberry scone is a marvel of moist, fluffy pastry, bursting with the sweetness of blueberries in every tender bite, setting a high standard for what a scone should be.Beyond these standout offerings, Wave Hill Bread distinguishes itself with a dedication to quality and craftsmanship evident in every product. From airy baguettes to indulgent pastries, the bakery’s assortment caters to all tastes, ensuring there’s something to satisfy every palate. The passion of the bakers is palpable, using only the finest ingredients and traditional methods to create baked goods that are not just consumed, but experienced. Coupled with a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff, a visit to Wave Hill Bread promises not only a treat for the taste buds but a memorable journey into the heart of artisan baking.

Got Wild yeast bread at the farmer's market, cut quarter from the large round one and it was good.Saw the pre-sliced bread in regular plastic bags, with moisture accumulated on the inside, so I am not surprised the previous reviewer said this bread was moldy! Any decent bakery would know not to put fresh bread into sealed plastic bags, but instead use paper or perforated cellophane.Edited one week later:The bread that was bought 5 days ago & stored on kitchen counter in paper bag (it’s almost winter so no heat / humidity in the air) has gone full mold mode. See pics below. When mentioned (and shown pics) to the seller guy at he market, he said the bread has to be stored in the fridge. To which I said, “why”? There is no need for it unless it’s humid summer..and then he said “you have to put in in the freezer” and I’m like “no, I want to eat my bread fresh, not from the freezer duh”..to summ it up, he had no clue what he’s talking about..This never happened to me with the sourdough bread from the one & only SheWolf Bakery. Lesson learned. Never again.

My mom and I love to pass by to get the monkey bread and chocolate croissant. They’re so delicious and our favorites. I also like to use their natural buttermilk pan loafs for my sandwiches. Great place and atmosphere. My favorite bakery.

Recently got a 3 grain french country bread from WaveHill Breads. OMG, it was amazing, I thought I was in heaven, this loaf was as good or better than any I've had before and I love a good crusty bread. This was a meal in itself, add some cheese and wine and it will take you back to the streets of Paris or Florence. It was absolutely an amazing taste experience! Thank you WaveHill Breads for baking this unique artisan bread.

Once you walked in it looks more like a production bakery with just a few carts rolled up front for you to buy from. I personally liked this, not traditional but very pleasing. Had a few pastries and were amazing. Didn't try the bread but ill be coming

the best bread you can find around New York. I buy the miche and foccacia weekly. beautiful stands at farmers markets, with super nice workers. I recommend anyone that doesn’t want to buy preservative filled bread from the supermarket try them out.Now that the farmers market season is over, I make a trip up to the bakery from NY every week.

I purchased Monkey Bread at the Bethelehem Garlic Festival today. Unfortunately, it was incredibly stale like it had been sitting out since yesterday. In addition, the girl helping me was aggressive in her sales tactic and continued to ask me over and over again to buy three items for $15 although I repeatedly told her that I only wanted one. Unfortunately, the whole experience was bad and I wish I didn't buy anything at all.

Best chocolate croissant I have ever had! So light and flakey. I bought two and honestly couldn’t resist eating both same day. Excited to try more goodies from them!

Picked up from the farmers market, so travel time and distance may have impacted quality. Baguette was good. Nice flavors. Croissants (both traditional and chocolate) were soft and mealy. No flakiness. No crunchiness. Just soft pillows lacking the complexity in texture and flavor. For the price, I expected more.

The people working this bakery will make you some of the best food you have ever tasted.Must tries: Plain Croissant, Sourdough Miche, Frozen Pizzas, Monkey Bread, BaguettesBut everything is phenomenal. Seriously, do not sleep on this one.

Not really sure what the fuss is all about. Thought the prices were very high. The scones and focaccia I bought were both very dry and the focaccia grew mold much faster than any other bread I've bought so I had to throw most of it out.

Bread is fine, staff is rude and pretentious when I asked for specification said it was “just an Italian bread made with flour” nothing like getting a specialty product where the seller doesn’t even know why it’s special.

Scrumptious bread - especially the focaccia, miche, and sweet monkey bread. It freezes and defrosts beautifully, too. Staff is always lovely. Just read a review saying they used enriched flour, though, which I didn't realize, and hoping that's no longer the case....?
