I just happened upon this place when passing thru town. It's a great "dive" bar, and I don't mean that in a bad way. Dive bars are great. I do not mean to imply run down or dirty, because it wasn't. Just the vibe, ya know? It's an old brick building with a small inside area. But the attraction is the outdoor area out back. There's an outdoor bar, lots of seating, including couch style and 8 to 10 picnic tables. There's an area for live bands, and from what I was told, they play here regularly, but I was there at like noon so there wasn't. But it's just a cool blue collar joint. Sad to see it's temporarily closed, must have been a COVID victim.

The hours online said the restaurant/bar was open at 4pm, for karaoke but we got the restaurant at 530 and found out the restaurant open until 6pm. Walked in and was directed downstairs for karaoke. So, not much to look at from the outside. But.... The food and drinks were great!! Karaoke Started at 7pm. Karaoke was good. Bartender said she just started. Didn't know what a skinny margarita was. But... we showed her the ingredients. Se said she would go look to make sure she had the ingredients and see if she could make it for us. She was happy yo find the agave and make us two fabulous drinks. Really good! -Side notes. My friends husband is almost 7 foot tall and he had an issue sitting at the low tables. It would be good for a few taller tables. He also ordered a soda and it was flat, so the bartender took it back and brought him another that was hood to go. The fire pits could be lit a little earlier, for the early birds. Although it is outdoors, and tiki torches are ok, Back yard area needs to be treated /sprayed for bugs (mosquitoes, ants, gnats, etc.). Would make it more enjoyable. Bathroom was ok but could use an upgrade. Male/Female bathroom. Picture shows the visual. Regarding the business side, I noted that the bar wasn't open. Even with Karaoke going on downstairs, in the back yard, it would be good for them to have the bar open for those who have no interest in karaoke and want to watch football or other sports. If the bar plans to do any updates, i would recommend another bathroom downstairs, in the same level as the backyard bar area.

We visited for the first time yesterday (8/14/21), not knowing what to expect. The back patio is super cool, the bartender was excellent, and the food knocked off our socks. We expected mediocre pub food. It was fantastic.

Everything about it. Recommend going to listen to great music, great socializing, great food, great drinks, and the care they take to make sure everyone is happy, and most of all safe. I don't miss out on the fun at 86 Karaoke nights.

We visited 86'd on an evening they happened to have live music which was an unexpected bonus, however, unfortunately that meant the indoor space was closed. Not anticipating to sit outside, I did not bring a jacket so sitting outside was a concern for me as it was starting to get chilly. Regardless, we decided to give it a try and hope it wasn't going to get too cold. The outside space was really cool with an interesting outdoor open air bar, various seating areas, and a stage area where performances are held. The musician was pretty talented and he sang and played guitar throughout the evening. We ordered the following items: Garlic Parmesan Wings - crispy skin and tasty sauce. This is nit picky but I love flats and the of the 8 wings only one was a flat. Most people probably wouldn't care about this. Bacon cheese fries - surprisingly, these stole the show. The fries were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The cheese sauce had jalapenos cooked in and yet was not super spicy at all. These were served with a hefty topping of fresh thick chopped bacon and a side of sour cream. Favorite bite of the night. We all loved them! Taco flight - choose three of four options. I chose chicken, pork, and fish. The fish taco was the best taco of the three as it was fried nicely and had nice fresh accompaniments like a fresh slaw, lettuce, sauce, etc. The chicken, which I was told was a fan favorite was extremely dry and overcooked. It was smothered in a wet guacamole which still couldn't really salvage the taco. The pulled pork was really wet and the sauce it was cooked in wasn't in particular sweet or tangy. It lacked a bit of acidity and the taco lacked freshness/texture as it was really only accompanied by a little bit of slaw and some roman lettuce. Various burgers - smashed-patty style, various toppings, stacked high. These were tasty but incredibly messy to eat. Most of our group had to switch to fork and knife in order to finished it. These were good but nothing I would have to come back to order. I'd definitely recommend choosing the burger over the tacos though. The beer options were great. We enjoyed our shandy, mango ale, and various other drinks. We enjoyed our time but the entrees were a bit lacking in my opinion. As this restaurant seemed to market itself as a taco place and because I'm a huge taco fan I will say I was a bit disappointed. Restaurant has cool vibes and great potential. Nice hang out spot for some apps and drinks for sure! Hoping they continue to work on and refine their menu as I think the restaurant has great potential.
