I have never eaten in the restaurant, but I get takeout and delivery often. The food is really good and portions are generous! The employees are very nice people. Great local restaurant!
Irene's Family Restaurant provides very good subs & pizza in a traditional family-style diner. I had the lamb & beef gyros and then a peanut butter cake, which were all very good. This is located a short drive from the Leffingwell House Museum, so it's a good place to stop on your way back to the highway.

Having moved to Norwich in 2003, I must be the only person in town who hasn’t had the good fortune to eat at Irene’s Restaurant. My wife finally dragged me in (because I hate trying new things) and I am OH so glad she did.
