They don’t know what comes on an Italian Grinder??? Over priced and this is my 2nd take out order that they have messed up so now I’m leaving a review. This place used to be good, prior to coof. Now, it’s super expensive and the quality has dropped too so why would I keep coming?Oh! One time I was ordering in and they double charged me cause I got different sauce than what came with it so the waitress explained that I had to pay for the sauce again cause that’s how they charge for changes to the orders. What?!? How is that again?When you can’t even make a sandwich right, you should just close up. No tomatoes doesn’t mean ONLY tomatoes. And now I’m at work and can’t get a refund or new order. Thanks for another ruin evening

I am not one to complain at all! But this just happened! My whole family and I have been going to Illiano’s Grill in Norwich, CT for many years, I ordered this pasta dish Penne Alla Carbonara and I added chicken which sounded delicious but instantly made me nauseous. I am not sure why but I explained that I am battling cancer so my body is apparently sensitive to odd tastes. I explained this to our waitress Jennifer that it didn’t sit well and immediately nauseous! Even though I only took a small taste both she and the owner said they will Not exchange it for something else and will not take it off the bill, they charged for this dish that made me nauseated and I had to leave hungry and feeling ill and got charged for that nasty pasta dish! It’s not like I can’t afford to pay for my food, It’s the fact they they didn’t care about making it right, I have been fighting cancer since last June and this is the only dish that made me instantly nauseated ? Illiano's Grill.

Me,my husband and son needed to find a restaurant by the bowling alley in NorwIch. So we decided to go to Illianos. First of all walking in the Waitress never even looked at us .Just told us sit where ever you want. Second of all the grinder bread was hard and dried out. when asking the waitress for more mayonnaise, she threw a couple of packets on the table. Third of all, I couldn’t believe I was charged five dollars for a small bottle of very fine apple juice. I heard of a profit, but that was overboard. I am definitely gonna let my friends and family know about it on Facebook DO NOT stop there.

Very welcoming comfortable space. The menu is extensive and the owners understand "Vegan" as well as fine Greek/Italian cooking. Also a good wine list. Many choices for everyone!Seems to be a popular place on Saturday night. We did have reservations. But I suspect that we would have had the same excellent service if we had just stopped by.
I've been to Illiano's a few times and I've been delighted with each visit.The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm, and the service is friendly, welcoming and warm.Tonight, I had the salmon with artichokes, red peppers, and angel hair pasta.Our server was Jen who was amazing.Lastly, Jen does an excellent job of decorating for the holidays.

The sloppiest pizza I've ever had in my life. Pepperoni wasn't even cooked and was an odd color too. It was dripping so much with oil it just became soggy by the time I got it home.. 6 mins away.... Definitely would not come back here. Unfortunate, bc I live so close wish this spot offered good pizza like I've been told.

Hubby and I went on an excellent lunch date here. Music, Food, and Service was amazing! It wasn't too busy, it looks like they have more outdoor amenities so it would be a blast in the summer! Definitely look forward to coming again.Kid-friendliness: There is a playground out back.
