We just moved to the area and luckily we live close enough to Occum Pizza that we can walk there. The atmosphere was good and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly ! We all enjoyed our food !

I went to pick up an online order and was told I had to verify my order with my phone which I left in the car because I expected to be able to run in to grab my food. I told the employee I didn’t have my phone and told her what I ordered. The owner who was sitting in the dining room proceeded to come over and yell at me that this is the policy and to not order here if I don’t like it! So I left, they can keep my food, extremely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior as an owner. I have never been yelled at publicly in a restaurant, I hope your day/life gets better as I’m not sure how a customer simply trying to pick up their food without needing to go out to their car in 32 degree weather to grab their phone, that already paid for their food, causes you to get so angry and lash out on them like that! I used to love this place and now I will never go back! I get that there’s a policy but also it’s extremely rude to treat customers in this way, I expect to be refunded for my order that I paid for and if not will be contacting the BBB (For reference, I checked my email and I have ordered 6 times and not had to verify with my phone in the past)

They're off the list. The pizza is fine but the last two times I tried to call and order, I received a massive attitude from the woman answering the phone. I ignored it the first time - we're all entitled to a bad day now and again, but a few weeks later I call back only to be talked down to again. A few pointers - If you don't want to take orders after 8, don't advertise that you're open until 9. Buffalo wings are hot wings - it's not my fault if you don't know that. There are far too many options in the area just as good to be treated like a fool. The next time I need a quick dinner or half a dozen pies for an event in town, I'll call Big Y, Manny's, Irene's, or Taftville.

Occum Pizza is great. I once ordered a Hamburger Onion Pizza. I didn't like the way it was made, but they gave me a gift certificate which they honored, and made me take the Pizza anyway. They made it like a cheeseburger Pizza. When I got home, it was delicious. It threw me off when I opened the pizza and all I saw was lettuce/Salad. Well I would order that again. I often order the chicken wings and their Supreme Pizza. Special order Pizza. I just wish they would offer it in small for the people who live alone. I don't need a large Pizza unless I have guests, but I do love the House Special Pizza. The strawberry milkshake is to die for. I wish they had an extra large for that. It's a Great place to get great food.

Avoid this place! Guaranteed they will be rude to you on the phone & mess up your order as well as multiple times finding hair in my food. Complained to owner that they would continue to lose business if they kept the blonde girl there! New owners don't care like the last & quality of food about as good as their customer service. They should promote the friendly guy on the grill cuz he is the only one that cares & by the way she still managed to mess up 2 of the 2 orders in front of me too! Time to find a new place! Don't waste your time or money!!! (As she continued to talk about me as I left).

Absolutely great food and people. We drive 20minutes just to get pizza here. Although I don't know what changed with the phones ever since this Google number thing came up its been difficult to get through. The Google number just immediately hangs up, and calling regular line you get a busy tone. Been ordering here for years, same times same days and never had this happen before until recently. This last time we ordered we had to keep hitting redial, literally, 96 times and finally got through. And the order number was low and when we picked up it was less busy than it usually is.. so I'm not sure if they cha get to a new system or something....Other than that...if you can get through I highly highly highly highly recommend it the food is absolutely worth it... we live in griswold and there's many pizza places around us but honestly they all suck. Occum pizza all the way!
