Has so much potential. Great space. Sadly the menu offers a ton but specializes in none. They should scale it down and focus on better quality items. Everything is just ok. We keep trying bc it's our neighborhood place. How about not offering bar food, plus Mexican, plus, Asian? Just be a great American place. Do a good steak. The times have tried they were pretty inedible. A better burger. Better fish etc. please! Only truly good thing was the service. Most of the time servers are great. And seem to agree with us Live music a nice touch too.

Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience here. I sat at the bar and had mozzarella sticks. They were heavy and not tasty. The sauce was not good either. I also had a burger. It was good enough. What made this a particularly unpleasant experience was what went on around me. First, there was a customer who simply asked about the check. Turns out the manager got involved and asked the guy to leave and to never come back. Then, 15 minutes later, another customer asked about her check. (Is this a mere coincidence?) Again, the manager got involved and was just plain rude to her. I think she would have kicked her out if she hadn't just kicked out the other person. Lastly, after that lady left, another customer told the manager that she needed to learn how to deal with customers. Within the first minutes of the conversation, she decided the best course of action was to call the police on the guy, who never raised his voice or used any disparaging language. They lost 3 customers in less than an hour. I will never go back to this place until the manager is gone. And the new chef gets better at the menu.

We have been here a few time and it is consistently average. Nothing has been bad, but nothing I would rush back for either. My wife and I started with Crab Cake fritters which were good, but thought a bit expensive for the 6 very small pieces we got. I had a patty melt which was pretty good. My wife had the Cobb with chicken which she said was "pretty good".

Cozy local restaurant with good food and service. Parents need to teach their kids how to behave in public places. 2 kids maybe 4 & 6 were screaming, and the parents just kept to their own conversation. People don't go out for a nice meal hoping kids will act up. Disgraceful!

Solid all around casual local spot. Basic menu done well. Parking can get a little busy at times.

I was very hungry and decided to buy some Chinese food. I found this place and ordered potstickers and rice with chicken. Potstickers were really good, that I enjoyed. However, once I got to the rice and chicken, it was just.. terrible. I didn’t enjoy it at all. Kinda disappointed.

We enjoyed delicious specials from the Octoberfest menu and German Octoberfest brews.

While the service is great, the food is lacking some serious luster. I got the Tex Mex Salad ($18) and was disappointed at how flavorless the salad was - the chicken was thin and dry and the dressing was not tasty. I also ordered a hot spiked cider and it was served lukewarm. I was just not impressed by the food or drink.

Local bar. Very loud. Great location. Expensive drinks. Good service. Nice clientele. Decent food. Very busy. Large space. Favorable band. Regulars at the bar.

Ya know. I'm giving this place 5 stars. It's probably a solid 4.5, but I'm giving it 5 and rounding up versus down. Here are the reasons why:It's super convenient for train goers coming home and want to grab a glass w colleagues. It's easy with kids and food options for family dinners. It's laid back for little wine/cocktail dates with friends. The prices are SO reasonable. Not only that but they give you a nice pour as well. Service is super friendly and attentive. And the food, the food is pretty junk food options BUT it actually taste fresh and good. I loved the chicken empanadas while drinking and also the mozz sticks. I will be coming here a lot especially now that we just moved to OG. Thanks social club!

We stopped in after an event nearby to split a salad for dinner. The Cos Cob Salad was very below our expectations. The lettuce was limp not enough dressing. Service by waiter not good, but waiter assistant very good.

I've been here a couple times as it is on the first floor of where the company my husband works for is located, but it has been awhile. My first experience had been during covid when they'd had a huge tent in the parking lot, but that no longer exists. They do have a cute outdoor patio area if you want to be outside, though, which looks even nicer when they have their annual flowers planted. Inside is clean but plain, with a nice large bar area and a combination of lowtop and hightop tables, as well as booths. A number of these were moved to accommodate live music later on which was a lot of fun!At that first experience, I remember really enjoying all my food, but the item that I've dreampt about ever since was their TRUFFLE FRIES...I had them again this time as well - SO GOOD! Everyone has their own french fry preferences, but for me these were 10/10! I love thin fries with lots of crunchies and good flavor, and that's these! In addition, my friends and I shared a number of apps that were all delicious: the nachos were great (albeit the guac was a tad on the limey side), the cauliflower bites were tastey, I enjoyed my bao buns (although I'm not overly familiar with authentic ones), and I loved the tuna tartar that I had as my main meal. But I have to say, besides the truffle fries, my favorite were the pesto shrimp empanadas! They were suggested by our server, and we were NOT disappointed!!! While I didn't try them myself, my friends enjoyed their burger and the orange chicken bowl. My one friend did comment that her orange chicken bowl wasn't quite what she expected, but she enjoyed the taste nonetheless. As for service, our server was kind, attentive, and patient. We saw the manager running around checking on people and helping as well. We'd arrived at about 5 and didn't leave until 10, so I got to see an almost empty Friday evening restaurant quickly become full of families at tables and friends and couples at the bar. The overall flow of the service and transition of the evening and the patrons were very efficient. Overall: great service, great food, great experience. We can't wait to go back!

On Saturday my wife and I went to the OG Social Club. Our third time, there and there wont be a fourth. We arrived and sat at the bar. The Manager appeared to be working on his computer at the bar and never acknowledged us. A Waiter behind the Bar was making a drinks and didn't acknowledge us either. After ten minute the Bartender approached us from behind and clicked her nails on the bar as she walked around the entire bar and then came up to great us. We ordered the Clam Chowder and the Oysters Rockefeller. When the Clam Chowder arrived we had to ask for Silverware and Napkin. The Food Runner provided it for us. Then we asked for Oyster Crackers, when they arrived the Bartender was eating some and explained she was really hungry. The Chowder was made with Lemon Juice and was yellow in color. The soup was sour and in edible. The Oysters arrived shortly after. Oyster Rockefeller is a CLASSIC DISH. This was a poor replica at best. Chopped Spinach, and Breadcrumbs with Garlic Butter and overcooked at that. No cream, no cheese, very little spinach, dry and tasteless. I suggest Chef reviews his cookbook or try some real Rockefeller Oysters or change the menu to Broiled Oysters with Spinach, Garlic, and Breadcrumbs. Sorry but this place was a DUD.

TRASH!!!! Had hair and a wrapper in my orange chicken, the chicken was so overcooked and hard that you literally could not chew into it, the bao’s were soggy and disgusting, and the egg rolls were burnt black. Should have probably stopped sooner.
